Stingy

Patricia visited Tatiana at the office a few days after the party.

"Bestie your office is huge," she said moving around.

"That's what the CEO gets, only the best," she said.

Patricia giggled hugging her.

"So what brings you to my office dear best friend," she said.

Patrica sat down, "I came to thank you for that night, thank you for being there for me," she said.

"Do you really have to say that, you have been there for me more times than I can count so I will do the same for you. Now tell me how you are with Eric after what happened".

"We are okay, he apologized for his father's hurtful words and said he would be on my side no matter"

"And his mother did you explain why you left early she must have been disappointed," Tatiana said.

"We called her but before I could apologize she did it instead. Saying her husband was an a**hole and we should forgive her for letting him do what he did".

"Well it seems his mother and sister have your back, that's good and don't worry about what that old man said cause none of it is true," she said.

"Thanks, bestie," she said, "So where is Alex I didn't see her on my way here"

"Alex's office is after mine, but she's out on a meeting now".

"Oh, that's bad I wanted to say hi to her," she said.

"Then you can wait, I believe she 's about to return".

"Then let's all have lunch together when she arrives," Patrica said.

"Are you treating us?" Tatiana asked.

"Hi, it's you who should be doing that. You make a lot of money being the CEO here, you should pay" Patricia laughed.

"Still the stingy one" Alex walked in.

Patrica frowned, "No am not, just stating facts. You both rich friends should be treating me who isn't"

"Patricia we both know you make enough money to buy us dinner and lunch for a month, but you're just being stingy," Alex said.

"Come on guys, am still raising unlike you both, so please take pity on me and feed me today".

Alex and Tatiana laughed, "you're just stingy accept it".
