CHAPTER 29

Mona gulped hard as she looked away hurriedly; she didn't know how her eyes had moved so fast to staring at the Alpha again. She wanted to gorge it out so bad. Her wolf practically snorted at her for acting so cowardly. No doubt he would have noticed her reaction; she was too obvious.

"Did you see a ghost?" Sansan queried, looking around to check if anything strange was near them.

Blowing off the strand of hair stuck to her lips, Mona's eyes shone widely. "are we done here already? Let's go back inside, please."

"But we just got here," Sansan whined.

"Please, for my sake, let's go."

"Not until you tell me what changed within these few minutes."

Mona let out a frustrated huff, "my eyes met with that of the Alpha. It was unintentional, but he warned me to stay clear of his path. Please, let's leave. I don't want to have to deal with him. I might get a panic attack."

"Alright, alright," said Sansan, even though she didn't look that pleased.
