CHAPTER 38

  Mona wrapped her hands tightly around herself, gritting her teeth as the cold bit hard at her skin. She had been unable to sleep and had decided to step out of the room. Her mind was jumbled, and it affected her thought process.

  Staying in Lycan pack didn't seem like an easy feat for her. Every day, she woke up with the fear of never being able to adjust to the life being lived here. And with the fear of never getting freed to be with her parents and having to live the rest of her life in an entirely strange place. It scared her that any of her parents would drop dead or fall terribly sick, and she wouldn't be there to take care of them.
