CHAPTER 81

  Douglas lay outstretched on the chair like a lifeless body, dangling his arms and legs. Boredom was getting the best of him, and he needed something to occupy his mind. There has been nothing fun for him to do for a long while. This had been why he chose to look into his situation with the Lycan pack.

  It's been more than two months since Dylan's mate escaped his wrath, and it still made him boil on the inside. That was another form of attack he could use to get Dylan to bow to him or break down. There was a need for the Lycan Alpha to bring his guard down to enable Douglas penetrate the walls of the pack. But as long as the Alpha stays guarded, then his plans would remain foiled.

  Sighing, he threw his head to the back, unconcerned about the inappropriate way he sat for someone of his status.

  "Dylan." He mumbled to himself.
