CHAPTER 103

  Sighing into the chair, Dylan looked around the study, suddenly feeling lonely. He had bid Diane and Ralph goodbye in the early morning hours. A small smile played on his lips when he remembered how close he and Diane had become.

  Being close to one's family and making jokes with them feels like something he would love to indulge in more. Memories of himself and Diane being entertained by their mother returned to him. She found joy in every little thing that came her way. They had been a joyful family until her death.

  However, getting on good terms with Diane makes Dylan feel really at ease. Clearing up their misunderstanding had been necessary, after all.

  Checking the time, he snickered to himself; it was almost evening. Foden was becoming less reliant with time. Since he got married, Foden is either coming in late to report to him or making silly jokes about how good it feels sleeping next to someone every night.
