CHAPTER 153

Sighing, Simone sat by the small lake at the back of the packhouse. She regrets coming over in such a hurry. Throughout their dinner, Dylan couldn't take his eyes off Mona. Even when he tried to be polite because of her, he still couldn't keep his hands off Mona.

Simone had always wanted Dylan to stare at her like that. She had always wanted him to touch and be engrossed with every of her move, but it had always been a dream that would never come to pass. Simone can't tell exactly how she is feeling, whether rage or sadness, in the middle of the chaos, but she is definitely feeling both.

Throwing her head to the back, she gripped her legs tightly to herself. Tears rolled down her face, burning her cheek with an intensity that made her shiver. No matter how much she tries, she can't seem to get over the dejected thoughts. Nobody would understand how she feels; dedicating her entire life to someone who treats her like nothing is the worst feeling ever.
