CHAPTER 167

Dylan gave Foden a dead look on his face; he was beginning to get tired of his insistence on anything happening to the royalty stone. He was a bit more relaxed since Diane was no longer bugging him about her having a nightmare. It would have made him more paranoid.

"I understand this nightmare worries you. But what do you want me to do this time? We changed guards the other time. Are we supposed to do that again?" Dylan asked

Foden sighed. He was uncertain of what step they were meant to take. However, the more the nightmares keep coming, the more the fear of the unknown and what might become of the pack.

"Do you think Douglas is plotting something?" He asked.

"Was there ever a time Douglas wasn't plotting against us? You should know now that the royalty stone getting lost would never happen. That's just impossible."

"What if it gets missing then?"

"We are doomed, and you know it. Our guards will be down, and the pack will become penetrable. That is what happens."
