CHAPTER 166

  His eyes squinted at the bright morning sun that shone in his eyes. Dylan protected his eyes with his palm. He looked between the holes in his palms, and Mona's silhouette came into view. He grinned to himself.

  "Good morning, Alpha." She whispered in his ears.

  Dylan pulled her to himself, she gasped. "Good morning to you too, Luna. A beautiful morning it is today."

  A blush crept up Mona's cheeks at the title, "every day has always been beautiful, don't you think?"

  Laughing, Dylan sat up, leaning against the bed frame. His eyes still felt heavy from needing extra sleep. Instead of letting the sleep evade him again, he placed both of his feet on the cold floor, remembering he had a long day ahead.

  "Do you intend to sleep in for a while?" Mona asked.

  He shook his head, "no, Diane is coming in today. I need to get started on work before she brings all her energy to distract me."
