CHAPTER 42

  I cleared my throat to take there attention and it was successful, all eyes on me but my sight was trying to avoid Zion. I don't want them thinking that everything between us are fine.

  Because it would never happen. What I felt earlier was pure lust and it would never happen again.

  "Darling..." Mom instantly stood up to hug me, my forced smile immediately faded and was replaced with stoic and emotionless eyes. "How are you doing? We were calling you earlier but you're not answering. I was going to invite you for lunch, good thing Zion answered the call and told us that you're here." She was all smile and innocent.

  My eyes then landed at Zion's parents, his mom can't even look into my eyes, probably still in mind of what happened to her supposed to be first grandchild.
