  “Why are you saying this to me? Have I not made it clear where I stand on this?” He spins on me, his brow furrowed and jaw tight, so his dimples are on show, anger simmering but also a look of fear in the depths of his pretty eyes. His body is rigid, and his eyes dart from side to side as he focuses on my pupils in a slight panic.

  “Yeah… you have. You told me all the external reasons this is a no, but you haven’t once said anything about the internal reasons. You can’t even deny you feel something for me without dodging it with a bluff shitty answer.” I point out, growing in confidence even if my internal organs are twisting themselves into craziness.
