~The Grubs, the warehouse~
It was a stupid decision. Why did he run forward to save the villain? The villain didn't need that for him, neither should Oxzy even think about saving that man. The horrible person, he could protect himself. Why would he need Oxzy?
But the hero's body reacted on its own. It did what it wanted without warning, no control.
The hero waved his hand in the direction of the man, he still managed to let a shot ring out. But instead of hitting Pierce in the back, it flew up and straight into the roof. The man stepped back, stunned at the ice that was formed in front of him.
When he managed to turn in the direction of the cold, he swung forward. The hero used his strength to push the man back, he crashed into other gangsters who tried to run away from the oncoming man.
"Fuh-" He managed to cry out before hitting another person.
They flopped onto the floor, the man holding tightly onto his bruised chest. He shook his head, hearing screams that were above him. He swiped his head up, locking eyes with a dangerous looking hero. The whole warehouse was silent. All eyes now on the man who made his presence very clear.
The bruised man felt lost of words, the hero who he assaulted was above him with a deadly glare. His body looked healed, a few small marks lined his neck. He wore a disguised uniform, body straight and power back.
They were all talking about him, now here he stood. In front of them all, he had everyone's attention. Mostly the villain who had a smirk growing on his lips. Felix couldn't understand what he was looking at, what was happening.
Not only did one of his men try to shoot his brother, but the hero was here. The hero saved him. Felix felt his blood boil, it was one of his men that tried to harm Pierce, now the damn hero comes and saves the day.
Felix saw the look in Pierce's eye, the small smile of relaxation as his once tense body completely relaxed at the mere sight of Oxzy. The little leader let out a growl, turning his head to the men that stood motionless. All of them stared at Oxzy, a few who had assaulted him mostly looked hesitant, they almost looked fearful. It pissed Felix off more, be afraid of Pierce all you want. But don't fear the hero.
"Don't just stand there! FUCKING, KILL THE HERO!" Felix let all his emotional rage scream out. He yelled at his men, forcing them to pull their weapons out and attack the hero.
All the attention on the villain moved to the hero, in a split second, the men jumped forward with their eyes on Oxzy. The hero shifted his feet, he expected to be attacked, but all at once? He was hoping that maybe the attention and fear of Pierce would be enough for him to get grounded.
But he was already in the sight of all the men. The little leader centered him, making his men ignore his brother as his fury from the embarrassment was directed on the hero.
But now, Oxzy wasn't defenseless. The hero grounded his feet, with his body and mind at the ready with a split second, a burst of light shock waved through the large room. The men took a small step back, giving air to Oxzy who took the hesitation and rolled with it.
The closest man that was to him was his first target, with the light slowly losing from their vision Oxzy was already in front of him. The man put his hands up, feeling a sharp cold presence that burned his skin. It was extremely cold, he realized that the hero had frozen his feet into the ground. He screamed, dropping his gun.
Most of the men had their vision back, even after seeing the hero's quick response, they fled forward in an unorganized fashion. Oxzy knew that he couldn't take all of the men at once, too much would obviously overpower him. Still, the hero took a quick approach and dogged the flying knives heading for his chest.
While he ducked under a sharp blade that was headed for his head, his hand went in the direction of the man's legs. Ice grew from their feet to their legs. Oxzy didn't have enough time to freeze more than just their feet since he was almost shot from behind. He moved to the side, getting cut from an incoming knife.
He held onto his bleeding shoulder, glaring daggers at the men all around him. Hitting the floor with his palms, the ground shook. It wasn't hard enough to make a crack, but it was enough to make the whole building shake. It wasn't a good idea, too much commotion would cause the police to find their whereabouts. Find Oxzy with the men, with the villain.
The hero decided to not make too much noise in defending himself, but he still knew that they had to get this over with quickly.
"Fucking bitch!" A man screamed from behind him. The hero watched him as he got off his knees and sprinted forward. He also saw two other men to his left jump forward at the same time.
He turned, hitting them in the jaw while he moved back to dodge the man next to him. Yet the man that yelled, with outstretched hands grabbed at the distracted hero. Oxzy growled, moving back slightly as a figure blocked the hand with fire. It burned that man's hand, pain running through his body as he fell to the floor, clutching onto his burnt hand.
The hero looked up to be met with a mischievous grin. "Hello Ox," Pierce smiled at him.
Oxzy's jaw hung open, trying to comprehend what the villain just did. He didn't have time to think as another man flung toward him. Oxzy had no other choice but to turn his back on the villain, throwing his hands up to block the man's fist. It was the same man that he had dodged once before, the hero rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Facing his hand down, ice grew up his feet. He yelled, feeling stuck onto the floor. He couldn't move away as the hero punched him in the jaw. He couldn't even fall all the way onto the floor as his ankle had snapped due to the ice.
"AHHH!" The man let out a scream of pain.
"Oh shit.." The hero realized what he did, seeing the man huddle his frozen and broken ankle close to himself.
"Oh! Nice one Oxzy!" The villain hollered from behind him. Pierce had most of the men hesitate, they tried to go around him towards the hero. But the villain took the reaction to his advantage.
With an outstretched hand directed by his side, Pierce held onto it, throwing his elbow to the man's face. It smashed into his nose, crushing his face. The man was on the ground, but another soon replaced him. The villain kept a bright, joyous smile on his lips, lifting his foot, it landed on the other man's face again. Another loud crush sounded through the warehouse.
Oxzy on the other hand used most of his energy to grow ice so as to stop the men from coming, he held back on hitting them as he didn't want to break any more bones. Unlike the villain who happily stepped and crushed the men's arms, face, and legs. The sounds and screams were distracting to Oxzy, he had to move out of the way from throwing knives, only to be met with fists. He got hit more times than he could count.
He held onto a hand that was inches from his face. The man was big, a lot stronger with his arms as he overpowered the already drained hero. Oxzy tried to move his focus under him to grow ice, but the man already caught on. Throwing his whole weight on Oxzy, the man used his legs to drop him onto the ground.
The hero was underneath him, trying hard to keep the man away from hitting his face. The man above him hollered out, a few others noticed the hero on the ground, taking the time to try and move around Pierce. The villain used his long legs to push them away before noticing Oxzy on the ground.
Pierce laughed out, pushing his way to the hero. He moved his hand in front of the large man's face. Black dust quickly formed, going into his mouth and nose. He flung himself up, scratching and clawing at his face.
The hero used his hands to push himself away from the man, lifting his leg, and kicking him in the groin. Now the large man held onto his part while his face was sucked into a black void. It went up his nose, suffocating him while he fell onto the floor.
The hero was lifted from the ground, a hand around his waist to ground him, he took a glance to his side, finding Pierce's smile by him. "Floor slippery huh?"
The hero looked at him with annoyance, shoving him away as more men came forward. "Shut it-"
"Fuck, Mark!" A man yelled out, jumping from behind Pierce. The villain moved left to dodge the aiming man, the man fell to the floor with a scattering knife. The villain smirked, landing his foot on top of the man's head.
It crashed into the ground, a muffled scream hitting the floor. A shot rang from the villain's back. Still, the villain heard it before it could come, he ducked, the bullet flying past and hitting another man. With his foot still on the back of the man's head, Pierce swung his hand at the man. Fire blew forward, hitting the gun. Though, fire spread up the man's hand before he could drop the gun. He screamed, trying to brush the flames off.
Pierce rolled his eyes, feeling under his foot squirm. With a quick look, the villain pushed his foot down, crushing the man's head under his foot.
The villain then moved closer to the hero who had kicked a man away from him, throwing his hands down to freeze them in place. Pierce punched another man who tried to use the distraction to throw his knife at the hero's exposed arm. The hero gave Pierce a glance, noticing a face coming from behind him with an aimed gun.
Without thinking, Oxzy ducked under Pierce's outstretched hand, swinging his hand up and knocking the gun out of the man's hold. A bullet flung upwards, the gun hitting the ground. Oxzy crushed it with his foot, hitting the man in the process. The villain gave a smile, kicking a knife away that made its way to the hero's chest from his side.
The two worked together without notice. It became clear that they guarded one another from the continuation of knives and a few guns with spiral bullets flying past them. The two didn't even realize what they were doing, just trying to avoid the weapons.
Felix found his feet wobbling under him. His eyes strained forward, watching as the villain and hero avoided all the attacks. Pierce moved back, crashing his back into the heroes. They kept themselves grounded, using each other's weight to piggyback off one another. Oxzy flung ice in the direction of the men with guns towards their face. It hit hard, sending them on the floor. The gun was soon lost, giving leverage for Oxzy to focus more at the men with close range weapons.
His arms felt limp, mind slowly going faint at the extensive use of his powers. He ducked again, running under Pierce's arm as the villain smashed another man's face under his fist. The villain seemed to be living it with no hardships, he was having fun from the look on his face.
The hero took a glance at Felix when the villain seemed to be handling the rest of them. Felix glared daggers at him, his face a deep red. His fists were shaking with rage, he kept on yelling and directing his men to kill Oxzy. It was soon becoming nothing, the men were too hesitant. Some even ran away, it was making the little leader fume even harker.
"What the hell are you men doing!?" Felix shouted out, he ran his eyes along the ground, finding spare guns. He growled, stomping forward and picking one up.
With a click, he reloaded it, turning in the direction of Pierce and Oxzy. The gun's face moved to the hero's head. Since Pierce was distracted or better yet, taking care of the men that surrounded them, Oxzy noticed the little leader after him.
The bullet was fired twice, Oxzy moved away from the flying bullets. Ducking his head, Felix yelled in anger. Pierce looked up, sensing a high cold aura behind him. The hero tried to block off the bullets that followed after another. It was too much, with each bullet, Felix stepped closer.
Pierce turned around, kicking away a knife into his hand. His brother was closer now, the villain managed to get close enough and grab a hold onto his wrist. Felix stopped shooting, eyes opened wide at his brother.
"Tell your men to stop." The villain said in a low voice.
Without so much of a thought, Felix dropped the gun. "Drop everything!" He yelled out. The commands were responded with the men stopping, still, their weapons were held in their hands. The leader shouted one more time, glaring at them all. "NOW!"
The scattering of guns alike filled the warehouse, it was soon followed by pants. The hero hunched over on himself, his head felt faint. Energy was draining from his bones like melted butter. His whole body was ready to collapse, but this wasn't the place to be so vulnerable.
Oxzy pulled his body up, taking a small glance around the room. He soon realized that the men that laid on the floor with crushed faces were recognizable to him. There were most of the same men that assaulted him.
The little leader began to sob, apologizing to his older brother. He fell to the floor, holding onto Pierce's leg. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry brother! My men should now better then to attack you-"
"That's not why I'm mad," Pierce shook his head. "You did something I can't forgive, touching my man.."
Felix looked up, eyes filled with tears. He felt a rush of rage, of concussion run up into his head. He didn't just hear that did he? What did the brother he loved and looked up to just say.
"What…?" His voice was quiet, almost pleading.
Pierce whistled, casting a glance behind him where the hero stood feet away. The man's face was a bash red, his expression looked annoyed.
Felix watched, everything hitting him. "Him.. You and him-"
"Are you that stupid?" The villain couldn't help the eye roll. The young man clinging onto him was nothing but an annoyance. "Yes, the hero is my man. Mine, and all of your filthy little boys touched him."
Pierce knelt down, watching as his brother stilled. "You touched him.."
"I-I.. I didn't know.. Brother, brother please! I didn't know!" Felix began to apologize, guilt was rushing around in his stomach, it made him feel sick. He was sick at the thought, at the realization of what he did.
Is that why Pierce was acting like this? Why the villain was this angry at him, wanting to rain revenge on him?
It made sense, it also made Felix want to throw up.
"I'm… Sorry…" Felix apologized, knowing that it meant nothing to Pierce. Pierce never accepts any apology.
But he couldn't help the words. The tears.
The hero watched in confusion. His face was hot, the words of Pierce should make him feel nothing but disgust, but he couldn't help the growing red that spread across his face. It was a stupid feeling, the hero turned his head.
His guard was up, he was still surrounded by strangers that wanted to kill him. He kept his eyes looking around, he couldn't stop himself from looking back to Pierce and his brother. It never did occur to him that the two were siblings. That Pierce had siblings in general.
Even if it was new, nothing has changed yet. The way he mocked the young man, looked down on him as he pleaded for forgiveness. Oxzy couldn't help the smug feeling. It was nice to see the man who ruined his body to be on his knees pleading. It felt nice, but it shouldn't.
The villain always had a way of stirring something inside the hero. It wasn't right to feel this way, he was a hero. Not a mad man.
"Do you really think I would forgive you? Forgive anyone in this room?" Pierce shook his head, "I just started on you guys. I'm far from finished…"
His words were followed by a chuckle, a silent and fearful chill went through the room. Oxzy rolled his eyes, looking back at the pair. He then noticed that one man was getting closer. It was a man that was always behind Felix, the guy had his hands cupped, like he was holding something as he walked forward.
The hero had a weird feeling, another pull that wanted him to step forward. He took a step forward, wanting to shout and push the villain away. The man was close enough, with small and silent steps, he pulled his hand back.
Oxzy realized what he had in his hands, a bit too late as the man had tossed it forward. The hero was never good at making fast decisions. It gets him nowhere, he just ends up doing something stupid.
Like he did just now, jumping forward, he took the hit from behind Pierce's back. The man had the blue dust, he tried to throw it at the villain, but the hero had gotten in the way, it was a harsh and aggressive throw. It smashed all over the hero's face, causing him to fall on his knees to cover his face.
"Couh-" Oxzy shut his eyes tightly, holding tightly onto his face as the dust fell down his hands.
Pierce moved forward, making his younger brother stand up in shock.
"Alex, the fuck are you trying to do to my brother-!?" Felix stood, shouting out to his most trusted man.
Pierce ignored the two, looking at the fallen hero. His eyes flashed, rage consuming him as he watched the sparkling of the blue poison fall from his face. He heard Alex try to defend himself, dropping what was resting in his hands while he stepped away.
The villain didn't think, he just did.
His hand grabbed a hold of Alex's neck, lifting him into the air with a strong hold. The man let out a cry, crying and pulled at the hand around his neck. He looked down, his face going red at the suffocation Pierce began to squeeze on his neck.
"No- wait please-!"
"I don't take pleads," Pierce said with a low voice. He gave no expression, no look of joy on his face. It was expressionless, staring up at the man he held by the neck.
"No- you, Rosamee- I can tell y-" Alex began to lose color in his face, tears rolling down from his eyes. Pierce gave a raised eyebrow, slowly losing his grip to let the man speak. Alex did so, crying out in desperation while his boss stood by, unable to do anything. "Felix, he did it! He killed her too-! S-Set fire to the school, kill her for you!"
The man cried and begged, trying to avoid the evil man's eyes. Pierce stayed silent, taking in the information. It could just be desperation speaking. Saying anything in hopes of survival. Still, his hand loosened.
Alex gave a small smile, tears in his bloodshot eyes. "He did it, not us. Please, let me go-"
His voice was cut short with a loud crunch. The villain had snapped his neck with the hand around his neck. Holding onto him with a powerful hand, energy went through him so fast he couldn't even give the man a slow death.
The body hung limp from the villain's hand, hanging high above the ground for the whole warehouse to see. Pierce sighed, dropping the man as he thud onto the ground. He turned, eyes landing on Felix who was already walking behind his men.
The two looked at each other, understanding in both of their eyes.
Felix was now afraid for his life.
The room was spinning, Pierce was seeing fire spread along the walls. It felt like his whole body was aflame. He couldn't focus on anything, the silence hit him in the chest as he walked forward, body moving on its own with growing tension.
"Hah- Pierce-" Oxzy looked up. He finished dusting off all the dust from his face, making sure not to breathe any of it in. He sucked in a breath looking up, his eyes crashed into the villains.
They were open wide, no expression on his features. Oxzy looked at him in confusion, trying hard to stand on his feet. He was light headed, not breathing for a few seconds began to take a tole on his sore body.
It was then that Pierce finally gave a look, but it wasn't normal. A smile was on his lips, yet a deadly look was in his eyes.
The hero found himself shaking while looking up at him. A man who was confident ran up beside the villain while he was looking at Oxzy. With no reaction on his face, Pierce reached his hand out. It landed on the man's head, the villain kept looking at the hero. A smile on his lips as he crushed the man's skull in his tight grip.
The hero flinched, watching the villain, not even bothering to glance at the man he just murdered with one hand. The man's whole body stopped moving, falling limp with his head still in the villain's hand.
Pierce let go, dropping the man whose skull was crushed. Blood dripped from his mouth and nose, his whole face was unrecognizable with the skin dented inward. The last moments of his life were pain, wrecked into his face.
The hero could no longer form the strength to stand up. He watched with wide eyes as the villain walked forward.
The hero watched Pierce commit massacre after massacre. The man was in a trance. His body moved on its own, throwing his hands before crushing their skulls. Fire spread along his fingertips, lighting everything in his path.
The smell of burnt flesh, burnt clothing lit the air. Smoke filled the air, blood and shredded clothing littered the ground. The whispering of air, the rushing sound of the villain crushing bones, throwing bodies around like dolls.
Oxzy found himself shaking, his feet tried to hold his weight under him, but his vision was lacking. He didn't want to watch this. The death, the brutal and easy way Pierce went about killing everyone in his sight. The fact that Oxzy didn't want to stop him..
Oxzy gulped, his hands shook hard, legs trembling as he stood and watched. He did nothing but watch.
The villain was drenched in blood and sweat, the excessive use of his powers was already making its way through his body. He was getting tired, light headed. But he couldn't feel it. It was like his body was filled with energy.
He was consumed by rage at the information. At the attack on Oxzy. He was controlled by the rage, smashing skulls, disappearing through the space before lighting the clothes the men wore on fire. It burnt them to a crisp, smoke piling up in the large room. Screams and cries echoed along the walls, they were music to his ears.
It wasn't until the villain had killed almost everything that he became aware of his slowly dying energy. He stopped, hovering above a body with a whole in the chest. Still, someone was alive, crying and shuffling around.
Without his notice, Pierce had left his younger brother for last. The little leader was near a wall, on his knees as he looked up to his blood-drenched brother.
"B-Brother…" Felix cried, watching the man who looked down at him. The blood fell from his fingertips, eyes casting down through a face of shadows. Felix looked up at him, looking at the man as if he was God.
The villain had the young man on his knees, hand holding tightly onto his legs. Desperation was in his eyes, love and fear crashed around with indifference.
"Please…"
Pierce sighed, letting a small emotion escape. He gave a soft smile, running his hand that was soak in blood on the side of Felix's face. It was a gentle, soft touch almost loving, the look in the man's eyes. It was clouded with shadows.
"Hk-"
The young man's little voice was cut short as Pierce's grip tightened around his head. The man had both his hands holding onto Felix's, with no expression on his face, Pierce pulled his hands forward with an alarming amount of strength.
Felix's eyes opened, his mouth hung wide at the quick burst of pain. Then..
Then there was nothing. The pain was gone, replaced with nothing.
The villain had pulled his brother's head off, the snapping and tearing of muscles stilled the warehouse. The flesh and bones teared apart from each other, falling completely off. The villain had used his last amount of strength he had to give his brother some sort of comfort
Before his decapitation.
