17. Reunion

"Rhian!".

"Yes Ma'm"

"You are done for the day, go home. You've been really hardworking today". Ma'm Corazon replied

"Thank you ma'm".

"You will come to my house tomorrow, some investors are coming to discuss some business matters and I need you to do the paper work and also fill them in the details about the process".

"Ok Ma'm, goodbye Ma'm".

"Good bye dear".

I drove to my house. I had dinner with Tori and I went to shower then I went to bed

"Rhian! Rhian! Wake up". Tori shouted In my ears

"What is it? Don't you know I'm very tired". I replied sleepily

"Sorry to cut your beauty sleep but Noah just sent you an email to meet him up at Manila Cafe tomorrow".

"Really. I jumped up from my bed".

"Of course girl, your prince charming is back".

"Yeahhhhh, I can't wait to see him. I love him alot and I will confess it to him". I smiled

The next morning, I woke up very early to go to work. My meeting with Noah was at 4pm and I usually close by 3pm so I had enough time to get dressed to meet him. I was really excited, I bathed and I got dressed for work.

"Bye Tori, thank you for the breakfast".

"You're welcome, bye. Have a wonderful day ".

I smiled at her and I went to work.

I got to ma'm Corazon's mansion and it was beautiful and gigantic.



"Wow, this is very beautiful".I said inwardly while looking around

"Can I help you miss". The Butler asked

"Where's Ma'm Corazon, I'm her personal assistant ".

"Oh you must be miss Rhian, right this way miss".

I smiled at him and I followed him upstairs to meet her.

I knocked

"Good morning Ma'm". I said as I came in

"Good morning dear ".

"Meet my husband, Mr Marcial Da'Leon ". I stared at the man right next to her.



"Nice to meet you sir, your wife is really lovely".

"Thanks Rhian and it's nice to finally meet you. She's been talking about you since yesterday ". I smiled unconsciously

"I'm really fond of you dear". Ma'm Corazon replied

After chatting with Mr and Mrs Da'Leon, the investors finally came and I helped her like she wanted me to do. After rounding off my work, I went to ma'm Corazon to bade her goodbye.

"Ma'm I'm done with the paper work and I need to get somewhere very soon".

"Thanks dear, before you go I would like you to meet my daughter ".

"Jessie! Jessie! ".

"Yes Ma, I'm coming".

I saw a young lady of my age come into the sitting room where we were seated. She looked really familiar.



"You! Rhian right ". She asked

"Yes and you are".

"I'm Jessie, Noah's childhood friend".

"Ooh I met you at the party. Nice to meet you again ".

"Nice to meet you too". Jessie replied

"You have such a lovely mum".

"Thanks, Sorry about your parents death".

"No problem and thanks".

"Jessie, did Noah ever contact you since four years ".

"Nope, he only told me was going to study in Italy but he's back and he decided to start staying in the phillipines ".

"Alright thanks. Bye Jessie, bye Ma'm, bye sir".

"Bye".

They responded simultaneously

I went back home in a hurry and I showered, styled my hair and applied a little makeup. I wore a red burgundy gown that brought out my curves.



I took my purse and rushed to meet Noah. As I entered the cafe, the scent of coffee hit my nose and I heaved a sigh of relief. I looked around and I saw Noah, he looked more handsome and matured and he looked muscular. I admired him



I walked up to him and he was startled a bit and he kept staring at me from up to down, I felt a bit uncomfortable but I just shrugged it off.

"Cutie, is this you? You look hot".

I blushed then we hugged

"Hey handsome, did you miss me". I asked gliding my hands on his chest.

"Of course I did".

"You've become a pervert lately, see the way you are staring at me".

"You've become so sexy, how can I look away when my beautiful girlfriend is standing in front of me".

I laughed

"I really missed you Noah, don't do this again. Never leave again unless I will break your bones".

"Alright cutie, let's sit down". He said and he chuckled

We ordered some food together with coffee and we talked, joked and laughed. I wanted to tell him how I feel but I was reluctant, he might not feel the same way for me.

After eating, we exchanged phone numbers and home addresses.

"Sorry about what happened to your parents and I'm sorry for not being here with you when you needed help the most". Noah spoke

"It's okay, I forgive you dear but you are going to come for dinner at my house tomorrow".

"Alright cutie, I would love to come".

"Bye Noah, see you tomorrow and thanks for coming back into my life".

"Bye cutie, no worries". We hugged each other and we both went to our respective homes.

The next day, I was so eager and excited to meet Noah. We talked to each other this morning and that made my day more great. Noah has become more romantic and clingy and I really like this new side of Noah. I would ask Ma'm Corazon if I could close a bit earlier so that I can prepare the food for dinner and so that Noah can taste my great cooking.

I bathed, packed my hair in a bun and I dressed up for work. I had breakfast.

"Good morning Tori, I'm so happy today ".

"Good morning dear friend, you look very happy. I'm sure it's because of Prince charming ". Tori replied

I blushed

"I will prepare dinner tonight so that Noah can taste my good cooking". I replied

"You learnt from the master chef".

We giggled

"Yes of course, the master chef taught me".

"I'm going, bye".

"Bye Rhian ".

I did my work very well today and I impressed Ma'm Corazon very well.

"Rhian, my daughter. You did your work extremely well today, I'm proud of you ".

"Thanks Ma'm ".

"Is it ok if I called you daughter ". Ma'm Corazon asked

"Yes of course, I don't mind".

"Call me Ma. I am like a mother to you and I've noticed you seem empty because you lost your parents, you can tell me anything and I will listen".

"Even me too, you can call me Pa". Mr Marcial answered

I was shocked to hear what they said and I broke down in tears. They consoled me and I was so happy they felt my pain and I would be really happy to call them my second parents.

"What's going on here Rhian". Jessie asked

"She's like a sister to you, talk politely to her". Ma'm Corazon replied.

"She's not my sister, I don't know what you told them but I am their one and only daughter and I don't need some stranger to come and assume a place in this house". Jessie replied rudely

"Don't feel bad Rhian ". Mr Marcial spoke

Jessie walked away angrily. I wondered why she was so bitter towards me.

"Ma,Pa. Can I go home, I have a dinner to get to".

"No problem dear, see you tomorrow ". Ma'm Corazon replied

"Bye"

As I was approaching the gate of the mansion, Jessie pulled me aside.

"Stop what you are doing. Your parents are dead and you want to take someone else's parents, what kind of girl are you". Jessie shouted at me.

"No one can replace my parents, your parents just remind me of how caring my late parents were and I miss them dearly. Stop being so jealous". I replied

I walked out, she just spoiled my mood and I am so mad at her for doing this. I wondered why Noah became her childhood friend.

When I got home, I started preparing all the dishes for dinner tonight. Tori helped me in the preparation

"Rhian!you have only fifteen minutes to dress up".

"Get dressed quickly".

Then we heard the sound of the door bell. I quickly ran upstairs to get dressed.

"Come in". Tori replied

"Hi, you must be Noah ".

"Yes I am and you must be Tori".

"Nice to meet you". Noah replied

"Nice to meet you too".

"Yes I am Tori. Have a seat while I go and check on Rhian ".

I heard footsteps coming close to my door and Tori entered my room.

I have already showered and styled my hair but there was problem.

"What kind of exposed dress did you buy for me and where are all my other dresses In my wardrobe". I asked Tori

Then she grinned

"I hid them, you must wear this dress that I bought for you. Stop dressing too formal, you need to look sexy"

"What! I hate this kind of dresses. But Noah must be waiting for me, let me manage and wear this dress".

It was a black gown with a side slit with an opening at the side of my tummy



I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked stunning. I walked down stairs graciously and Noah stared at me wide eyed and I also admired him in his black tuxedo and black tie.

He kissed the back of my palm and I blushed

"Hi, cutie".

"Hi, Noah".

"Wow, you look stunning and also very sexy more than last time".

"Thanks". I blushed very hard

"You look handsome too".

"Thanks cutie ".

We sat down to have dinner and the three of us had dinner together

"This food is delicious". Noah commended

"It's Rhian that prepared all these food". Tori replied

"Really cutie, didn't know you could cook like this".

"Tori taught me".

"Well I love your cooking, you will cook for me tomorrow ". Noah asked

"Alright, not a problem ". I smiled

After the three of us talked for a while, Tori went to sleep and the two of us were alone.

"I want to tell you something". We said it simultaneously

We giggled

"You can go first Noah".

"When I traveled to Italy to study, I enjoyed my stay there but something was missing. When I met you in high school I liked you immediately and I confessed my feelings to you". Noah paused and stared at me.

I stared at him blankly

"I felt a void. I like you but that was a feeling of the past, now I have a new feeling towards you. I've always thought about you when I was in Italy and I could never stop thinking about you".

"Mahal Kita"

I stared at him in shock and disbelief. I couldn't believe he felt the same way I felt for him

"I love you too". I hugged him tightly and we pulled back

We stared into each other's eyes

He inched closer to my face, he stared at my lips and we kissed. The kiss was slow but soothing, we pulled back and we panted heavily.

I blushed

"You look very cute when you blush. That's why you are my cutie". Noah spoke soothingly.

"Thanks, how did you learn filipino language". I replied

He laughed

"Online"

I laughed

"That's great".

We talked a little after a little while. He stood up to leave

"Bye Noah, thanks for coming".

"Bye cutie, see you soon. I'll text you".

Noah entered his car and drove off. I smiled at myself

"Yeah, I'm truly in love". I closed the door and I went to bed
