18. Cheating

Rhian's POV

It's been two weeks since Noah confessed his love for me and our relationship has blossomed ever since. We go on dates everytime, talk everyday, kiss and it has been very romantic for me. Ma'm Corazon and Mr Marcial Da'Leon has been treating me like their own daughter and I really appreciate it.

I dressed up for work and I rushed downstairs to have breakfast.

"Hi Tori, how was your night? ".

"Hi,It was great. Have your breakfast so that you can go to work".

"Thanks Tori".

"Mmmh, this is so delicious". I replied

"Thanks Rhian".

"I'm going to surprise Noah today. I told him I will visit him tomorrow but I decided that I would visit him today".

"That's a good idea Rhian, he will be so surprised and happy to see you". Tori replied

"Bye Tori, I'm late to work. See you later".

"I know, but I'm so glad that Mr and Mrs Da'Leon treat you like their own daughter". Tori replied

I smiled

"I'm glad too. See you soon Tori".

"Bye Rhian".

I got to Mr and Mrs Da'Leon's mansion and I went to meet Ma'm Corazon to prepare for a meeting.

"Good morning Ma'm".

"Good morning dear. I've told you to call me Ma when we are not doing any business matters".

"Ok Ma".

I smiled at her

"Please go and get me a cup of coffee dear".

"Ok Ma".

I entered the kitchen and I saw Jessie.

"Hi Jessie ".

"Hi".

"Would you like a cup of coffee too?Ma asked me to get a cup of coffee for her and I was wondering if you would like me to make you one". I asked

"No thanks, I don't need anything from you. You are nothing but a parent snatcher". Jessie replied

"Oh". I bent my head sadly and I walked away to give Ma her coffee.

I was done with the day's work and I went home to get ready to meet Noah. I wore a jeans dungaree with a white top and I applied simple makeup.



I arrived at Noah's penthouse and I always admired it anytime I visited him. I knocked his door and I got no response, I opened it and it was unlocked,I wonder why!

I heard some noises nearby and it was coming from Noah's room. I came closer and I heard moanings. I opened the door slowly and I was shocked to see the unthinkable.

Noah was kissing Jessie and they were in their underwear. My bag dropped on the floor and tears flowed down my cheeks, they turned in my direction and they were shocked to see me.

Jessie smirked

"Cutie please, I didn't mean to". Noah pleaded and he came towards me.

"Don't you dare touch me, I hate you. You betrayed my trust and I will never forgive you".

"Cutie, I was forced to date you. I never loved you, I loved Jessie but my dad wanted your inheritance so he asked me to date you. I never wanted to hurt you but I dated you for the sake of my family's happiness. I don't love you and I'm so sorry for breaking your heart".

"I don't understand what you're saying. You think this is a joke, I fell in love with you and now you are telling me you love someone else. Uncle Armando took all my inheritance away so I am left with nothing except my late parents houses, so you dated me for money". I staggered backwards and the room was spinning and I couldn't believe what was going on.

"You don't have any inheritance anymore so I don't need to date you or get married to you anymore. I love Jessie and she is my life". Noah spoke rudely

"You can't do this to me Noah. I love you".

"He loves me, so accept it". Jessie pointed at me

"I love you Jessie". Noah spoke

"I love you too". Jessie replied

They kissed in my presence and I couldn't take it anymore. I picked up my bag and I ran out of his house. I entered my car and I drove to my parents tombstone.

"Pa! Ma! What did I do wrong to deserve all this, I hate being betrayed". I cried heavily

"I hate myself for not preventing Uncle Armando from killing both of you. I wish I never trusted him so much, then you two would still be alive. I wish I never trusted Noah so much, I hate myself for being betrayed twice". I cried more and more

I cleaned my tears away and I mustered courage

"Ma! Pa! I miss you so much, I wish you were still alive but I know you are always with me in my heart. I promise myself from today that I will not fall into any body's trap, I will never be betrayed again and most importantly, I will trust no one". I dried my tears with the back of my palms and I placed a bouquet of flowers on the tombstone and I walked away.

"Hi Rhian ". Tori greeted

"Hi Tori". I responded coldly

"What is it Rhian? you look tense".

I narrated everything that happened.

"I'm so sorry Rhian".

"It's okay Tori, I'm not gonna cry over this. I will show no sign of weakness".

"I hope you know I'm always there for you". Tori replied

"I know you are always there for me. There are only three persons I trust in this world, ma'm Corazon, Mr Marcial and you".

"Thanks for trusting me Rhian, I will never break your trust". Tori replied

"I hope you won't". I replied
