23. Dangers and Feelings

I woke up in the morning, feeling an intense headache because I kept having night mares about Uncle Armando since the chandelier incident, I have not had peace in my mind. I doubled my security in my house and I also made sure to recruit well trained security personnel to keep watch over I and Maya.

I had my bath and I dressed up, I ate a little breakfast and I rushed to work. My ankle felt much better after some days so I could walk properly now.

As I got to my office, I began working. Then I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in". I said without looking up

"Hi Rhian".

I recognized the voice and I looked up to see Jessie

"What are you doing here? did you get an appointment before coming into my office?". I yelled

"I did". Jessie replied

"What do you want". I asked sternly

Then someone knocked on my door

"Come in"

Franco walked in, staring intently at me

"Good morning Boss". Franco smiled
