SACRED REVOLUTION

Chapter 4- Sacred Revolution

Author: Ede David

"Taniyah, my love for you is like the raging oceans, deep and wild, please don't make this hard for the both of us." A slender looking man flowery said.

"Peh! You love me and I don't, does that mean I have to meet with you tonight? Eh, Zaren?" Taniyah coldly replied.

"Oh, playing hard to get, I see," Zaren had a lewd expression as he lecherously licked his lips.

"Sir, should we help capture her?" one of his henchmen asked.

"Capture her? Do you think someone as dignified and exalted as my beloved Taniyah should be captured, don't worry, I will handle her." Zaren shot the henchman a vicious glare before flashing over.

What he inwardly meant, was that he was going to conquer this woman.

He appeared in front of her and tried grasping her shoulder...

But to his greatest surprise, his hand grasped nothing but air.

Taniyah was already by his side.

This wasn't Flashstep, it was like the senior brother of Flashstep, one of the Six Hunting Styles, Flowing Wind.

********In order to hunt a beast, you have to be in sync with the environment of both you and your prey*******

Flowing Wind was simply the stylish application of flashstep, it allowed the user to change trajectory and move nimbly in different movement patterns, flexibly and accurately.

It was like this, flashstep only allowed to move to a certain direction while flowing wind allows you to master and use certain footwork that allows you twist your body even when in mid-air, changing your

movement desirably.

Like a leaf in the blowing breeze, you don't move one way, you flow in different directions.

Taniyah's hand chopped towards Zaren.

Zaren recovered from his slight reverie before pushing forward.

Following up, he flashstepped to where Taniyah was standing, preparing to land a blow.

But once again, Taniyah had vanished and had appeared at his side.

His expression slowly became grave.

He had hoped in defeating this girl to show how strong and heroic he is, but now he looked like he would lose face instead.

Midoriya and Zernon were watching the fight with casual interest and then Midoriya remarked disdainfully. "Hmph, people that uses Flowing Wind are just pieces of shit.''

Zernon just smiled as he watched.

A big rat passed by his leg and entered a gutter at his side.

'Should I kill it or not?.... Neh, let me give it one last chance to live.'

He seriously considered as he gazed at the gutter but the same rat climbed out and passed his leg again, scurrying over to another place.

'Neh, f**k it.' Zernon unsheathed a knife and threw it, not even glancing at his side but expertly, the knife pierced through the rat's petite body as it dropped dead immediately.

It was then a nut cracking sound echoed out, pulling everyone's attention.

Taniyah had landed a powerful kick on Zaren's balls, causing him to grimace in great pain.

Zaren knelt on the ground with one knee, clutching his private region with a red, scorched face which had green veins popping out flashily.

"I-I am fi-fine." Zaren proclaimed, but his speech uncontrollably wavered due to the immense pain he was feeling.

His henchmen all looked at him oddly.'You look like someone that is about to die and you say you are okay.'

"Em, Sir, how is your-" his personal bodyguard crouched and asked in a weak voice, his hand reaching out to feel the area.

"What the hell, are you a faggot?! Where is your hand going?!" Zaren moved backwards in fright, as he glared warily at his bodyguard.

"No, it's just that, it's my duty to protect you from any harm, and from that noise, looks like your eggs cracked, I just wanted to feel it, just to be safe." the bodyguard replied with a calm face.

"F**k you! do you even hear yourself? You want to feel, argh!" Zaren yelled at him but the pain suddenly resurfaced causing his face to flush even more redder.

"Hahaha..." Midoriya laughed slightly as he watched what was going on.

It was a classic example of wooing a girl going totally wrong.

Zernon then yelled out, "Taniyah, let's go."

Taniyah snorted coldly before walking towards his direction.

"You, you better stay away from her, she is mine, you hear that, she is mine!" Zaren glared resentfully at Zernon, since he couldn't vent his anger, he tried venting it on this young man and seeing the way Taniyah had swiftly complied made his heart shake with jealousy.

'What does he have that I don't, sure he is more handsome, but look at that smile on his face and his aura, he looks like some of those sissy scholars who read day and night, peh.' Zaren thought furiously to

himself, eyeing Zernon with malice.

He had thought he was a love rival, Zernon shook his head and flashstepped away.

He could kill or hurt people very easily but he had some baseline.

His killing or moral code was:

Anyone that wants to hurt or hurts my brothers and sisters, will be cut down.

Anyone that wants to hurt or hurts my brother, will have his family and loved ones cut down as well.

Anyone that wants to kill him will die.

It was that simple.

He had never considered himself a good person or a righteous saint.

Being a soft-hearted and good person in such a very cruel place like Hunter Village was simply

foolishness… foolishness in high gear.

"Why were you in a hurry? I wanted to beat that pest to death!" Taniyah exclaimed angrily upon reaching base.

"Remember, we still have to plan for our heist." Zernon replied silently.

"Oh…"

"Which heist?" Midoriya instantly grew interested.

"The High Sky clan has a super ore of Wilo Iron…" Taniyah had already started getting acquainted with Midoriya, so she slowly replied.

Hearing her caused Midoriya's brows to shoot up in surprise and incredulity, "Do you know how strong the High Clan is? You actually want to steal from them?!"

"Isn't the High Sky Clan, the ruler of this domain? Yes, we know, but we still want to rob the iron."

Zernon nodded as a matter of fact.

"…Do you know how strong a domain ruler is?" Midoriya took a deep breath, he had followed this man because of their closely similar ideologies but now he was thinking of running away.

"A domain ruler controls over half of this Northern Region, right?" Taniyah looked at him strangely, puzzled about why he was acting so dramatic.

"And you still want to rob them?" Midoriya sat down calmly and gazed at the ceiling, lost in thought.

'Hmm, looks like I have to leave these people and just go solo, staying with them, might just implicate me.'

"Haha, we know how you are feeling, come let me ask you… what is our goal?" Zernon slumped on a couch and asked lazily.

"Our goal? We met just some days ago and naturally, our goal was to change Hunter Village." Midoriya frowned in confusion.

"Hunter Village is a very vast place that has 11 domains, and all these domains, although managed by a domain ruler, still answers to the commands of the Hunter Council." Zernon's eyes suddenly went sharp, before continuing "All eleven domains all separated into four regions all submit to the Hunter Council,

because… they are the strongest, this our Hunter Village is ran by who has the strongest fist, the strong

prey on the weak and the weak submits to the strong."

"Do you know why this is so?"

Midoriya stared at Zernon, intently waiting for his reply.

"Because of the 7 hunter lords of hunter council… they are the strongest and although have the power, they have decided to leave Hunter Village the way it is, they don't care of any wars that happen in the

domain or how many dies, all they care for is their own mutual benefits."

"As long as you can supply troops, food and money for their own advantages, then they don't care what happens, even if the whole domain is plunged in chaos, they will still come to collect tax… remember

that time, a woman called the Revolutionist tried making Hunter Village a good place, she tried promoting peace and order, but she was still killed by one of the Hunter lords"

"I remember very well." Midoriya's eyes suddenly went fierce with rancor and hatred.

"It shows that the hunter lords like seeing Hunter Village like this for their own selfish reasons."

"Which kind of selfish reasons?" Taniyah frowned.

"I don't know but neither do I care, all I know is that for Hunter Village to change and become better, for us to revolutionize this Village, those Hunter lords and many others has to die, they have to be the weeds gathered and burned before the real planting can begin," Zernon, seemingly unaware that he had digressed continued coldly, "you joined us because our views and goals coincided, but listen to this, we

are not soft-hearted men, we were born in a cruel place so we live in it with a cruel mindset, we have to kill many in order to change this place, as there will be too much oppositions."

"We have to become stronger." Zernon's eyes shone resolutely as his father's face flashed before his mind.

It had always been his father's dream to change Hunter Village, but unfortunately he had already…

Still digressing, "A revolution of blood and gore, a revolution of light and hope… a Sacred Revolution."
