Chapter 20- Black Skull

"Enough of this nonsense! Let's discuss how we should deal with Secular World." Druzol yelled in strange anger.

"What more do you know?" Deetor questioned.

"I am not quite sure, but there have been some sudden deaths, I don't know whether you all have experienced this," Druzol stared at all their faces.

"If we are talking about sudden deaths, then won't Blue Spirit, The Sixth be an example?" Ystic frowned.

"No, my father's death was because of over-exerting pressure on himself." Rosen calmly shook his head.

"Hmmm, two of my top experts died last night." Detro spoke out, rubbing his forehead in contemplation.

"Hehe…" Dragon Warrior chuckled lightly, filled with delight.

"What are you laughing about?!" Detro glared at him ominously.

"Ah ah, I can't laugh anymore?" Dragon Warrior smiled at him cockily; giving one the urge to just rush him.

"Stop it, can't we just stay five minutes without quarreling?" The Counselor sighed in helplessness, before concurring, "Yes, there has been a sudden attack on three of my containers that were heading to

Light Star Domain, and all merchants were killed."

"One of the things all this death should have in common, is that a skull symbol is drawn with their blood and the words 'Black Skull' is written under it, is that correct?" Druzol looked at the both of them.

"Yes." All of them seemed to be victims, except Dragon Warrior and Rosen.

"Alright, but my clan didn't suffer anything like that, hehe." Dragon Warrior chuckled causing the others' expression to become cloaked in rage.

"You are just as despicable as your Ancestor." Ystic glared at him.

"Please, don't insult my Ancestor again, it will be best for the both of us." Dragon Warrior coldly gazed at her; filled with arrogance.

"Please!" The Counselor shook his head again, thinking gloomily, 'Looks like last time's record of three minutes can't be broken again.'

"See what will happen, we will contact the Domain Rulers and have them peel their eyes, if the most recent attack of that Black Skull was in Light Star, then he should definitely be in the Southern Region

where Light Star is, we should dispatch Hunters there to standby." Druzol calmly said, the other Hunter lords nodded in rare agreement.

"The only other Domain in that Southern Region, is called Flowing Wind, let's also station experts there for cautionary reasons." Detro added.

"But the problem is knowing how strong this Black Skull is." Ystic worried.

"My Hunters were at the four star Hunter King Rank." The Counselor spoke out.

"Me too."

"Also."

"If they couldn't even escape, then looks like this Black Skull should be at least at the five star Hunter King Rank level." Druzol calmly analyzed.

"Maybe he carried their technologies inside?" Ystic's eyes narrowed.

"Won't it be best if we go ourselves?" Muzen cut in.

"No, all of them are too old, they need the Sun-Moon Ritual just to survive, staying under the sky for too long, will be very detrimental to them." Dragon Warrior courteously answered him; causing all of them to wonder.

Dragon Warrior was normally very arrogant; akin to a dragon, but he was being so friendly to this newcomer, which was quite strange.

'It's because their principles to change Hunter Village coincide.' The Counselor stared at him, deep in thought.

"And the both of us can't go, because any one of them can do something bad to our clan while we are absent." Rosen unconcernedly spoke out.

"Exactly." Dragon Warrior nodded.

They didn't mind the others' presence at all.

"Let's just hope that it's only one bastard that came here." Lux Deetor rubbed his chin, his eyes red with fierceness. "It will be fun and bothersome if many bastards are here too."

'But if the Sun-Moon Ritual doesn't permit too much fighting, then how does this man still live?' Rosen stared at him wondrously.

"I doubt he's only one." Detro shook his head.

"Yes, it shouldn't just be that Black Skull." The Counselor concurred.

"Anyways, if we can catch that Black Skull, then maybe we can extract info from him and see whether it's just him and what Secular World's plans are." Druzol stood up after saying this.

The others also stood up.

The meeting had ended.

As Rosen was about to walk out of the door, Dragon Warrior called out for him.

The Counselor also stayed behind, and as the rest left, remaining only the three of them.

"It's nice that there is someone that also desires a change around here," Dragon Warrior smiled at him,

"My real name is Linage Rax."

"Nice to meet you, my name is Muzen Rosen."

Rosen then turned eyes to the old, kind looking man and bowed slightly, "Thank you for your assistance there." He had helped him a little when he was presenting his case.

"It's no problem… but why do you truly desire change?" The Counselor stared deeply at him.

"…Well, it will be to stop the racism against Onis in the Village." Rosen answered after some hesitation.

The Counselor's expression froze for a while, before melting into a much wider smile; it was the smile of

friendship, as if he had finally seen a true friend and comrade.

"Onis? Why do you support them?" Dragon Warrior's brows creased in confusion.

"Is it bad to support them?" Rosen stared at him, not directly answering.

"Yes."

The short reply caused The Counselor and Rosen's expression to turn helpless and reluctant.

"Why?"

"Aren't Onis the results of incest? And furthermore, they originate from Einger, they are the forbidden ones."

This was the Hunter Village's literal translation of Oni- The Forbidden Ones.

"That they are from Einger, doesn't mean that they all possess his dominative, treacherous character."

The Counselor's crisp voice sounded almost immediately.

"Whatever, I don't really care about all this, anyways." Dragon Warrior indifferently waved his hand.

'When will Hunters stop having this prejudiced view against Onis?' Rosen sighed forlornly.

"Let's change subject, we have also tried changing this place, at least, making it more peaceful, but the other Hunter lords wouldn't agree, even your father didn't agree," The Counselor stared out the

window.

"I don't care about the other Hunter lords, all I know is that I'm going to change this place, I'm going to revolutionize my Village." Rosen's calm, deep eyes gazed far ahead into the distance, his irises were deadly sharp.
