"Jayden!!!" Jax screamed with a ghastly expression.

So sad. The one in pain is unable to scream, while the unhurt one is screaming his lungs off. But what can I do? This bastard shouldn't have looked at Rogue like that.

Jax once again lunged at me. This time he used his powers. He summoned blue claws on his fists and threw a punch at me.

The heroes came running and subduing him, "Stop right there! You are under arrest for using abilities on a regular civilian."

The civilians saw the entire thing. They are gossiping among themselves while blaming Jax. Surprisingly, some people even came forward and gave their testimony- on how Jax threatened to kill me.

"You alright?" Rogue came running to me.

"Yeah, I am fine," I answered, holding her hand.

Meanwhile, the ambulance took Jayden to the hospital. Well, I should pay him a nice visit, he is my cousin after all, and I have to make sure he is alright.

That's what family does, right? I should at least repay the same gratitude I received from them.

The leader of the patrolling hero group was asking Rogue and me some questions. He seems to be a good person, unlike show-offs. Rogue was quick to catch my drift and went along with it.

Jax was kneeling on the ground with his hands behind his head.

Jax yelled with a burst of maniacal laughter as he tore apart his clothes and stripped naked.

"You. You are first. Bring that ass to daddy..." Jax ran toward the leader of the patrolling hero group and jumped on his back. Then he started... Well, let's not go into many details.

Fucking hell! I can't hold my laughter anymore. That bastard is molesting a hero in public. The nearby people are already holding their phones, recording the incident.

"You motherfucking son of a bitch!" He grabbed Jax's jaws and threw him on the ground before him.

"Aahahahaha! You like it rough, don't you? I will let you be the daddy tonight," Jax said after letting out another maniacal laughter while squirming on the ground like a worm.

"Don't look," I shielded Rogue's eyes. I feel like I am about to vomit.

"Get him. Beat the shit out of this mofo. I will take the responsibility if he dies," The leader of the patrolling hero said while cracking his knuckles. His teammates took out their weapons and are slowly approaching Jax.

"Uum... Hey, that bastard must be the maniac rapist. You know, the one with a bounty of 80k who rapes and kills men at night and leaves starfish signs. That must be him, right? I mean, he was normal just a second ago. You caught him!" I said loud enough for everyone to hear.

Adding a little petrol on an already burning object...

Well... This is fun.

"That's the starfish killer!!!"

"...no wonder he rushed to the young man there..."

"I heard him threatening to kill that young man..."

"Yeah, he started hunting in the morning too..."

"...he must be waiting here since there are no CCTVs..."

The crowd's gossiping. From their conversion, I can tell Jax had another thing coming.

The hero leader's expression changed. He lightly shooked his head. I guess he understood I was trying to help him... in-case he ended up killing Jax. He will have a perfect excuse.

Moreover, if Jax survives, the original starfish killer will definitely come after him to kill or maybe enjoy him. That way, the heroes can lay out a trap to catch him.

In short, Jax will either die or be bait...

"You guys can go. Leave this rapist to us..."

"Hell, no. You don't want another trauma, right?" I said.

"Just a peek... Please..." she begged like a little kid.

"No, you are not allowed to see any other naked men other than me," I reply.

"Fine! Don't forget what you just said," Rogue finally gave up.

We left the scene and made our way to the water park. Although it's a bit late. I am sure we can enjoy a few hours there...

[3rd person POV] [Location: Justice League Space station]

Batman, Superman, Aquaman, the Flash, the Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman and Cyborg were watching a recording on a holographic frame.

The green and blue lanterns were getting slaughtered by the yellow and red lanterns without mercy. It was an absolute mess. They were attacked from within. Some of the blue and green lanterns were suddenly changing their forms and turning red and yellow.

Confusion among the ranks and allies led to their demise.

"Bruce..."

"...Damn it!..."

"Bruce, find it..."

Hal Jordan coughed out blood. It seems he somehow managed to survive the surprise attack from the red lantern. But from the looks of his present condition, he doesn't look so good. His green energy is flickering. His ring is almost out of energy. Blood is trickling down from his chest wound.

"...the box... Laira... fell on earth..."

"Find her... She is in danger... Sinestro and Atrocitus... working together..."

"...the box... there is a mole in the council of Oa..."

"Cough... Cough..."

Hal coughed out blood while trying to fend off the oncoming attack, but it broke through his thin green shield and struck him hard, sending him flying a few hundred meters away.

"A threat is coming..."

Hal continued to explain, even in his critical condition. He knew he wouldn't be making it out of there alive, so all he could do was inform the others about the oncoming threat.

"That box contains the hope of stopping the..."

Superman understood what Bruce was about to say. He made his way toward the exit. Bruce also sent a sos signal to Carol.

"Let me go with him..." said Cyborg.

"No, you must find Laira and that box. If that thing is what Hal says it is, then it is a ticking time bomb... We can not let it roam on earth," Bruce replied with a grim expression.
