4. Chapter 4 Surprise visit
Olivia nearly had a heart attack as she opened the door. The person on the other end of the door was her father, he was with a younger girl who looked at least a year or two older than her. Her mother rushed as she's heard Olivia scream and when she got there she seemed dumbfounded to the point she dropped the pan she was holding and forced a smile as she welcome the unexpected visitors.
"Da-Da-Dad" Olivia screamed as she hugged her dad,She really missed him so much and she could sense he felt the same way too.
"Frank, hmm"
"Won't you invite us in" Olivia dad asked.
"Yes, sure, come in"Olivia's mom responded.
" Patricia may I have a word with you"Frank asked as he nearly dragged her away.
As the two adults were "conversing" Olivia decided to bond with the girl.
"So, you and my dad,huh?" Olivia asked.
"I'm only here because his my....."before the girl could finish Olivia's mom interrupted.
"Olivia your dad's moving in for a couple of weeks his house is getting renovated hope you don't mind" her mom asked.
Mind, this was Olivia's dream come true of course She wouldn't mind.
"Sure" Olivia whispered as she his her excitement.
"Great, you can help him unpack and I'll go finish cooking"
As Olivia excorted her dad through the wide corridor she couldn't help but wonder what Molly was about to say and as she walked it kept bugging her to ask but she decided to first let them rest and then she would strike.
After her mom was done with dinner she called everyone and as they settled down she led a brief prayer before eating.
"Oli, I heard You're invited to a sleepover" her dad asked as he ate quietly.
"Yeah, it's just us girls and the popcorn that is"
"Look at you having friends and all well Frank and I thought it would be a splendid idea if Molly could tag along you Know female bonding and all" her mom asked.
Olivia nearly scoffed at the rediculous idea but she went with it anyways as long as she was still allowed to live with her dad. She was really happy to see him and she could sense from the way her mom was talking to him she also felt comfortable around him so why did they seperate?.
The dinner table was filled with laughter and chatter and everyone seemed to be having a good time except for Molly who for some reason looked disgusted.
After dinner Olivia tried helping her mom in the kitchen but she just shewed her away.
She walked up the stairs and as she was half way through she heard her dad yell at Molly.
"Why can't you understand this is a major breakthrough"
"I can't and I won't understand why you're like this, you're so inhumane I wonder what Olivia sees in you, have you told her, no? of course not, you are a true monster" she yelled as she burst out crying as she ran from him and as she saw Olivia she dragged her to another room.
"Look whatever you do, don't trust him, never trust him you don't know who he is" Molly yelled as she slammed the door shut
Olivia too dumbfounded to react stood like she understood what Molly had just blabbered just a few seconds ago.
'I don't know him?' Molly was a nutcase but what if it was true,what if she knew nothing about him so what would that make him anything less than a father?.
