5. Chapter 5 Sleepover

It was finally Friday and as Olivia had promised she was gonna head to Josaphine's house, she wished Dave went missing or something because she was not ready to talk to him. He was totally quiet at school he seems to have changed but she knew it wasn't possible because whenever he was out of the school premises him and his friends would always pick on younger kids.Amateurs.

When she got home she packed her bag for the sleepover and immediately called Molly. Luckily she did not wait long as as Molly was already done packing. She brought out some sunglasses and handed one to Olivia. Olivia a bit confused asked.

"What are these for?"

"You'II see, why are you with your school bag"

"Lots of assignments you won't get" Olivia replied as she zipped her school bag and made some finishing touches on her bag.

"Dad, we're leaving"

"Bye, Molly won't you tell your dad goodbye"

her dad asked and almost immediately Olivia's skin turned pale, did she just hear what she thinks she just heard or were her ears deceiving her. Molly was her stepsister so they were in a way related

'Oh geez , oh God I wasn't prepared for this emotional damage, not now, not ever' Olivia thought as she started to shake. She smiled oddly as she carried her little bag and stormed off.

When she finally got to Josaphine's house her jaw dropped. Josaphine's house was so huge and the fancy decorations made it look more bigger.

Her parents seemed rich and not the normal rich rich but this was filthy rich stuff. The house was wide, the gates were shiny and even the ground seemed to be made of gold.

Olivia turned and as she anticipated Molly was also stunned. She was practically holding her jaw as she saw the huge water fountain.

"I didn't know your friend was rich" Molly said as she continued exploring.

"Me neither" Olivia said as she saw Josaphine who for some reason glimmered like her house with her blue nightgown and her blue slippers that complimented her even blue eyes.

"Woah" she said after a few minutes of silence.

"I get that a lot, hey you must be Molly right " Josaphine asked calmly.

"Yes"

"Olivia's said a lot about you"

"Hopefully something nice " Molly whispered to Olivia who still looked amazed.

When Olivia was in her house she felt like this was the Heaven the priest in Church had been talking about expect there was only one Angel and a devil in the mist.

'Speaking of the Devil where is he?' she asked herself. The house was oddly quiet as if no one else was in it.

"So where is your brother?" Olivia finally asked.

"Out" Josaphine replied briefly.

" With his friends"

"Friends? No my brother doesn't have friends the ones you call friends are just thief's making money off him"

"That's terrible, they are just using him, does he know?"

"Maybe but who cares this is a sleepover no boys just us girls with our usual shenanigans"

Josaphine said as she swiftly lead them up the shiny staircase. And as they got closer to her room they heard giggles.

"Is someone else in there?" Josaphine asked.

"Yes silly, I told you just a couple of friends" Josaphine said as she opened the door. The girls smiled as they saw Josaphine but were confused to see the other two.

"This is Olivia and her hmm..

"Stepsister"

"Oh, stepsister Molly" Josaphine added as she looked at Olivia who looked slightly less comfortable when she said "Stepsister". Josaphine allowed them to settle down but as soon as Olivia was about to sit she called her silently. Olivia slightly confused obediently followed her around the huge maze like house until they got to the kitchen.

"She's your stepsister huh? no wonder I felt tension between the two of you. And when did you find out you were related because the last time we met you called her a stranger"

"A couple of hours ago and the tension you feel is just disappointed Jossa"

"Disappionting?"

"Yes my parents hid this from me for....

"Look I get it, don't think she's a nuisance just because you just met her, get to know her better"

"She's not a nuisance she's just well confusing" Olivia said as she remembered the odd things Molly told her few days ago.

"And?"

"Well I just miss my dad's attention, I mean my mom drove all the way here just to start over and now he's back with someone I barely know about."

"You can't understand her while you're still giving her the cold shoulder, get out of your comfort zone help her fit in, there's still good in bad right" Josaphine said as she raised her brow.

"Right" Olivia said as she considered Josaphine's advice, she would befriend Molly and when she least expect it she would send her and only her running back. As Olivia thought of something to do she looked at Josaphine who for some reason seemed happy to have seen Olivia consider her advice of befriending her but little did she know she was scheming on other things.

As soon as they were done talking Josaphine dragged her up again and Olivia did nothing but smirk as crazy ideas rolled on her mind and to her surprise she saw Dave going to room not to far from Josaphine's room he seemed sad and Olivia immediately stopped smiling as she remembered that he had no true friend.

An as soon as they got into Josaphine's room she excused herself as she walked right into the room Dave entered and as she turned she saw him, she saw him laying on the bed.
