“There’s only one solution to this problem.” Narumi said. She couldn’t believe this was the only solution she had come up with to solve this dilemma.

“What’s that?” Her mother asked. 

“Marriage. Daiki and I will have a contract marriage. This way my reputation will not be ruined, and he doesn’t have to go through trouble with the press.”

That is what they call her in the business world. She was the most successful female CEO in Japan and her prowess in managing her family business is the reason why they call her that. Hinode Narumi is the epitome of elegance in appearance, but in reality her personality is cold and harsh, her ice-blue eyes being the most terrifying, intimidating pair any man could ever see in their life. Everyone that works for her knows that they need to be on their best behavior because their boss doesn’t tolerate rubbish. 

When she gets a new assistant, Tsukumo Daiki, a man who is bubbly, cheerful, and enthusiastic. Things become complicated when the media forces them to stipulate a contractual marriage to escape the press from writing their newest scoop.
While she will be trying to find out who her enemies are, Daiki will also be trying to win her over but will he be able to succeed or will their relationship end after the contract is over?

After the hot spring incident, Narumi and Daiki had to go out together. Yuki and Akiko pointed out three places they wanted the couple to visit during their last week of vacation. 


a museum dedicated exclusively to artworks that were created by French painters and artists from the fifteenth century on. It had a huge collection of paintings and sculptures made by famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, who made The Mona Lisa, and Alexandros of Antioch, who sculpted Venus de Milo and other beautiful works. 


"Beautiful."  Daiki muttered.  He always wanted to see these famous artworks in person.


"Yes, they are beautiful." Narumi said that, but unlike Daiki, who was focused on the art, she was focused on the women who were starring at Daiki. 


'Not again.'  She grumbled.  'Must he always get attention from women?' 


She looked at them all. There were three women who kept on staring—a blonde, a brunette, and a redheaded woman—whose gaze was piercing, as if they were trying to see what was underneath his clothes.


The brunette one was also staring at Daiki a lot. She kept on smiling shyly at him.


'Can't they see that I am his wife?'  She thought. 


"It's nothing."   She replied, suddenly having an idea. 


'If I drag him closer to me, then maybe they will understand that he is not single.' She smirked wickedly. 


Narumi did exactly as she thought. She grabbed Daiki's arm and held it tightly. The ladies saw this and frowned; they couldn't believe he was a taken guy. One by one, they left, leaving her alone with Daiki.


Daiki looked at her curiously and asked, "Why did you do that?" 


"Your admirers are looking at you a lot, so I need to show them that you are my husband." She said it with a grin.


"Again with this topic." Daiki chuckled. "You are behaving like a jealous wife who doesn't like people looking at her man."


"Oh, really, then why are you so bothered?" He asked.  "Do you consider me your man?" 


Narumi could feel her cheeks getting heated up. Did Daiki just flirt with her? 


"Enough, we still have two more places to visit, so don't try and annoy me now." Narumi turned around and started to walk away. Her ears felt hot, and her heart started thumping.


'He was flirting with me?' She was sure she wasn't imagining things. She stopped and stared back at him. His hair framed his handsome face perfectly. Narumi felt mesmerized looking at his smile. 


'Snap out of it!'  She reprimanded herself mentally. 'Today is getting weird.'
