"Pearl!!!!"

Fred screamed.

Madam Maria rushed to the kitchen as she was nearby.

"What's wrong Fred? Why are you screaming Pearl's name like that?" Madam Maria asked worriedly.

Fred looked furious right now, his auras were dark, suffocating the room temperature.

"Pearl was adopted," he said through gritted teeth with a clenched fist.

"What!! How come? How could they adopt

her? Is there a spy in this clan?" Madam Maria asked shockingly.

Just then Jasper came into the kitchen too.

"Someone from this clan who is working for Godfrey had adopted her," he said.

Fred snorted. He remembered and now understand what Godfrey meant by saying he would lose something important.

And it turned out to be someone important.

He strolled in long strides as he made his way to the computer lab where Blizz and the other computer experts were.

"Blizz, track down and find where Pearl is right away" he ordered.

Blizz's fingers worked on the system expertly.

"She's presently at the Mamba's clan, in the underground room," Blizz said without stopping.

They had planted a tracking device in her hairpin.

All members of DCC has tracking device both on their materials and also in their body.

But since Pearl wasn't a member yet, she only had it on her hairpin.

Mike was present in the room too he had been feeling uneasy since before he had gone for the mission but he shrugged it off.

And now this happened

"We should go get her now before the Mambas do something bad to her" Mike suggested.

Fred glared at him, then ordered over ten people to follow him.

They drove off straight to the MC (Mamba clan)

MAMBA CLAN

Godfrey was in his room smoking with the clan doctor treating his wounds.

Steven came into the room.

Godfrey raised his hand and the doctor understood, he got his things and then went out of the room.

"What's it?" Godfrey asked.

"I told you not to go fight the DCC but you didn't listen, now look what Fred did to you" Steven mocked.

Godfrey drew out his gun "Don't get me angrier than I am" he growled.

"Ooh please, you know you can't win over the DCC" Steven rolled his eyes

"Get the hell outta here" he groaned.

"Fine, fine I'm leaving" Steven raised his hands in surrender and then turned to the door.

But he stopped

"And I hope you don't do anything to the girl you brought here"

With that, he turned to leave.

But the sounds of two gunshots were heard.

Godfrey had just shot Steven dead.

Godfrey smirked.

"Bastard!"

AT THE UNDERGROUND IN MC

A lady passed through the dark hallways majestically while the guards bowed.

She got to a cell then a guard opened the door and she went in.

There, was Pearl. She was tied to a chair and she is conscious and her head was down.

But immediately she heard footsteps she raised her head.

What she saw made her shock.

The lady smirked seeing the shock on her face.

"Emma" Pearl called shockingly.

Though they were never close, she was the last person she expected to do this to her.

Emma smirked and moved closer to her.

"You know, I never liked you since you came to that clan, I thought I never liked you because you were a betrayal's daughter, but now I know why"

She moved closer to her and whispered.

"You are the lover of my enemy. You see, my hatred for you became extreme as I noticed that Fred had an eye for you" Emma smirked.

Pearl was shocked not because of the new information, but because Emma called the master by his name.

Emma circled Pearl with the smirk still playing on her lips.

"Shocked I called him by his name? Well lemme break another piece of news to you, I'm the woman of Godfrey, lemme say the boss lady of the Mamba clan"

Pearl's eyes widened again with the new realization.

She had heard of the Mamba clan before from Mia. She knew they are Fred's nemesis.

And now Emma who had been in the opponent's clan, is the woman to Godfrey.

But why would Emma call Fred a betrayer, did he betray her, but how and why? This question kept ringing in Pearl's head.

Emma moved closer to Pearl and grabbed her hair.

Pearl winced in pain.

"Now I'm going to teach you a lesson that would make Fred hurt"

"But how does any of this have to do with me, it was Fred who betrayed you not me"

"That's because Fred loves you, dummy! We are using you to get to him, so he would know the pain of losing a beloved person," Emma said with gritted teeth, her eyes shining with mischievous determination.

It was the determination to get revenge, but why does this happen to her all the time?

Just then, the iron door to the cell pulled open.

A mysterious man, with a scarred face and plastered body, with a dangerous aura walked into the room.

He smirked immediately after he saw Pearl.

Pearl gulped she was in a dangerous lion's den.

"Who do we have here", Godfrey said while Emma walked to him and he grabbed her waist.

They kissed each other there, in the presence of Pearl.

She felt irritated but didn't show it.

She guessed this was Fred's rival.

After their PDA, they pulled away from each other.

"You took so long to come back, did you get rid of him?"

"I didn't, he narrowly escaped, but I would get him next time"

Pearl felt relieved. At least Fred is still alive.

"That bastard" Emma clenched her fist. She suddenly looked at Pearl, then smirked.

"Edward" A guard came in with a long whip.

Pearl shivered. Was she going to receive this again? Why was life so unfair to her?

With a glance, the guard knew what to do.

"No! no! No! Please don't, I beg you"

She cried as the guard mercilessly hit her with the whip.

"Shut up bitch, you haven't seen anything yet until Fred surrenders to us and I get to kill him with my hands," Emma said hatefully.

Godfrey smirked where he was 'Wait till I kill you Fred and thanks Emma for making it easy but I'm sorry you would have to go too' he thought inwardly as he looked towards Emma.

When they had beaten Pearl enough for blood to start coming out of the opened wounds, just then, they heard a commotion outside the clan.

"Where is she, Godfrey? I will kill you if you dare touch my woman" Fred's voice thundered outside.
