"What are you doing here Joseph" Fred asked calmly.

" Ahh, baby Fred….

" Stop Calling me that" Fred snapped.

" Okay, okay, wassup man, its been a long time bro, how have you been, and who is this princess beside you? " he asked again giving Pearl a flirty look.

Pearl felt uncomfortable under his gaze.

Fred noticed it and frowned at him.

"You better keep your eyes to yourself Jose if you don't want me to pull them out." Fred threatened

Joseph shivered unconsciously

" Hey take it easy bro am just curious of who she is, not like I would take her from you" he mumbled the last part to himself.

Fred still glared

" Why are you here, you caused a ruckus with your arrival"

Joseph grinned

" I came to see you bro its been a while right, don't you miss me"

Fred ignored him and turned to the others who were looking the scene with amused and curious gaze.

" you all can go in and sleep, I would take care of him" he ordered and they all went in not without giving Joseph a glance.

Joseph only gave them his creepy smile.

Others were all gone except for Jasper and Mia, with Annalise hiding behind a pillar.

" Dont worry Jasper I got this" Fred said to Jasper.

Jasper nodded and took Mia in.

" Why are you here… Fred asked again.

Joseph looked around and was about to answer when his gaze caught Annalise.

He smirked and called in a jovial voice.

" ooh sis, why are you hiding, won't you come and welcome this brother of yours"

Fred and Pearl turned their gaze to the place Annalise was hiding.

Annalise felt embarrassed and quickly came out of her hiding place keeping her head down while cursing at Joseph inwardly.

" I thought I ordered every one to their room" Fred asked

" Uhm.. Uhm I came to welcome him.. Just like his said, to welcome my brother" she replied awkwardly, while Joseph grinned secretly.

She looked up and their eyes met, she glared at him but dared not say anything in front of Fred.

" you can go in now I have something important to discuss with him"

Annalise nodded giving Pearl a short glance.

" Meet me at my study " Fred said briefly and walked away with Pearl.

" Huh?… who's gonna help me with my luggage and show me where am to sleep"

" Help yourself"

" tsk… grumpy Fred " he mumbled but still took his luggage anyway.

★FRED'S ROOM★

Fred leaned over and kissed Pearl's forehead.

" Stay here mon cherie while I go hear what he has to tell me, I suspect its very important, for Joseph to come all the way here, since he works for Godfrey"

" What!!" Exclaimed Pearl

" And you let him in"

" Like I said, its something important, and don't freak out he is a spy for me there, so literally he works for me"he gave her a light assuring smile

" so you mean he's been there for how long and Godfrey never noticed"

" Yes he's here personally to inform me about the recent plans and moves of Godfrey"

" But… ahh.. This is so confusing, I mean hope he is not gonna turn his back on you, and he is also Annalise's brother"

Fred sighed

" Its alright Pearl, we can trust him, I have known him for years now, remember I told you we grew up together, I and Annalise and Joseph too, forget he is playful and hilarious, he won't do anything out of place"

Pearl sighed relentlessly

" I hope so, but I want to come with you too, I would be the next Clan lady, yunno" she pouted.

" Really, I thought you wont be interested in fighting stuffs"

" Said who, c'mon am the clans lady am supposed to fight by your side"

Fred drew her close and gave her a deep kiss.

They broke the kiss, and Fred smirked naughtily.

" After all this Godfrey stuff is in place, I would so deal with you and you will not be able to walk for days"

Pearl smiled seductively too

" Can't wait"

Fred chuckled.

" Lets go meet him"

They both left the room to his study room.

" Ahh gawd, Fred is really an annoying brat, he didn't even send anyone to accompany me to my room" Joseph grunted in frustration.

He had been looking for his room then, when a maid passing by showed him to the guest room.

He was grateful the maid had showed him, if not he would have been walking round the clan since its night and everyone is asleep.

Though he had to the clan before but that was when he was a kid, and now the clan had some changes.

Now he is on his way to the study room.

" F*ck, where the hell is this study room, swears Fred when I get my hands on you am gonna break you" Though he is older than Fred but he was still scared of him.

He was walking when a figure blocked his way.

He smirked recognizing who it was.

" My dear Annalise, what's up"

Annalise scoffed and glared at him

" What are you doing here Joseph" she asked with a crossed.

" What do you think " he asked back with his usual grin.

"Hope its not what am thinking " Annalise smirked

Joseph leaned forward

" its nothing you are thinking sis, Godfrey knows am here, keep your thoughts"

" Good night sis" he smiled and patted her shoulder before walking away.

"Jerk, if you help them you go down with them"

She said evilly before walking away too.

Joseph turned to a corner but bumped into a body and looked up frustrated.

" Ouch! " a girly voice said.

" Cant you… " his words hanged in his throat when he looked at the figure.

He looked into her hazel sparkling eyes which were reflecting under the dim light of the moon as she looked at him cringing her brows in pain as she hit his chest.

"Cute" he muttered subconsciously under his breath.

" Excuse me, you were supposed to apologize to me as you were the one not watching where you are going" Emma snapped at him.

But Joseph was lost staring at her with a silly smile on his lips.

" Psycho" she shook her head and took another path.

Joseph snapped out of his imagination and turned to her, running to catch up with her.

" Hey pretty, am sorry I bumped into you, I was lost and was finding my way to Fred's study room, do you mind showing me" he said grinning.

' guess he is sick'

" And why should I show you, you should know it yourself since you are a member of the clan" she said wanting to walk away but he blocked her way again.

" What is it psycho" she snapped

" Psy… what!! "

" you heard me"

Joseph chuckled

" Am sorry I approached you that way, but you are wrong am not a member of the clan"

" Then how did you get in, are you a spy" she gave him a suspicious look moving back from him.

Joseph noticed and tried clarifying himself.

" Hey, no am not, I guess you didn't see me when I arrived, but am Fred's friend and he invited me to his study"

Emma gave him one last look and walked to a different direction.

Joseph took this as a go ahead and followed behind her.

They got to a hallway and Emma stopped in her tracks.

She pointed to a door with a guard at the front.

" That's the study room, if you try anything funny, you know what Fred can do "

She said and walked away.

Joseph looked at her till she was out of sight.

' Fierce,… I love it' he grinned and walked into the room.
