Exploring the City

"Max, why are we stuck in this traffic again? It feels like we've been in the car forever!" As the car cruised down the road to downtown, Melody couldn't help but tap her fingers on the dashboard, clearly impatient.

Max chuckled, glancing at her from the driver's seat. "Relax, babe. It's not my fault everyone decided to take a joyride today. We'll get there eventually."

"Yeah, well, eventually better be soon. I've got places to go, and this traffic is killing me."

"Places to go? Oh, like saving the world?" Max teased, raising an eyebrow.

Melody rolled her eyes, pretending to be annoyed. "Ha, very funny. But hey, I've got important things to do too, you know!"

Max grinned mischievously. "Yeah, like shopping for another hundred pairs of shoes?"

"Hey, a girl can never have too many shoes!" Melody defended herself, trying not to laugh.
