This work is definitely a significant change from the author’s previous works. This one is dark, edgy, and almost cutthroat with its storytelling. It is a very refreshing read so far. The chapters will leave you wondering what’s going to happen next and on the edge of your seat as the main character dives deeper into a world of magic bereft of technology. Where will Caleb’s path take him? Take a peak inside this dark world, if you dare!
