"Dragons and their spawn rule the skies, the land, and the seas... humanity survives in the cracks, dreaming of a comeback."
_____
Power comes from the beast you tame.
Wolves, hawks, snakes, spiders, chimeras, the stronger your summon, the brighter your future.
Too bad for our protagonist.
When everyone else summoned salamanders, eagles, troll dogs(not doge) or tigers, he got… Well, let’s just say the only thing lower on the food chain is dirt.
Laughed at, bullied, and living as the butt of every joke, he’s not exactly winning.
But giving up isn’t an option...
His aging parents sold everything for his "failed" chance, and he won’t let it be for nothing.
But hey, this is his story. The weakest beast tamer?
Here’s the thing about being at the bottom: it teaches you how to climb.
And dragons? Turns out they start small too.
As kingdoms crumble under greed and external threats, the weakest tamer begins his rise.
Follow his path as he unlocks a potential so rare, so terrifying, it leads to dragons… Every evolutionary line leads to the strongest ‘SSS Dragons’.
_______
Warning: Contains world-ending dragons, ridicule-fueled underdog revenge, dragon-scaled protagonist, morally questionable nobles, insane creature evolutions and enough twists to make you wonder if weakest really means luckiest.
A MC who’s out to prove everyone wrong… even if it kills him.
Spoiler alert: It won’t.
For those who love a whole lot of fun, this one’s for you.
If you’re looking for a darker story, look somewhere else (Maybe Utopian System (;)
This one’s about having fun and taming expectations.
_______
If you want to know more about the cover:
Yep, that's Luna, the FL...
Her skin and clothes are morphing into shimmering scales from her dragon power.
Remember Sailor Moon? Magical girls? Now imagine if the magical outfit wasn’t a cute dress, but an actual dragon!
The dragon is the dress... It’s not just fashion; it’s fusion.
High-level beasts tend to leave their mark, and Luna wears it like a boss, pulling off the ultimate power move.

Silly tags that seem to matter a lot to some readers: No Yaoi, No Yuri, Possibly Harem (Vote! I can write either, and in any case, there will be multiple girls. The only difference is whether he chooses one in the end or goes the "liberal" route.... democracy is yours!), No NTR.
only 200~ chapters published but i have to say, i enjoy it quite a bit. the title of the novel could make it seem like another generic 'i summon the strongest creatures' but no. mc starts with what many consider a trash summon but 'one mans trash is another mans treasure' is like the official motto for mc's fungus. honestly, the pace is good, not rushed, not excessively detailed descriptions, the story unfolding nicely with good character development and interesting interactions (THEODORE!! WRITE THAT DOWN!!!😂) that will leave you breathless from time to time. my only beef is the strange chapter titles where the word taming or a version of it is mentioned in all of them, but i learned to just ignore it. overall, a gread read so far. a beautiful weak to strong story that found the right balance between slice of life, adventure, fantasy and action. keep it up!
This is the second time a book has pushed me to leave a review. the writing is excellent. the characters despite being young are fully fleshed out individuals. the main character in particular has moments where his actions remind you of the fact he is still so young despite being brilliant. the magic system is fully fleshed out and realized with clear delineations of powerscale. I absolutely love weak to strong stories and this is a great one so far. my only complaint is I need about another 2000 chapters lol.
I'll divide this review in multiple points: 1) Before I even began reading the novel I already liked the Author by the way he answered to each review. Accepting critics and defending his work with courtesy instead of stubbornly believing his novel is perfect like a lot of authors do. This is the kind of Author I would gladly support. 2) He's a biologist, my father is a biologist and I'm a biochemist, do I need to say more? (Okay, I may be a little bit biased on this one) 3) I almost cried a couple times in the first 12 chapters, which is surprising if you think that in so few chapters you barely know the characters. This alone is proof enough that the Author is capable of tugging the right strings with his writing which is a lot harder than you'd think. 4) There are a few instances where descriptions are a little over embellished or repeated. It doesn't happen all the time so it's not a major problem, but if fixed it could improve the reading flaw, which is always worth it. 5) I agree with those who said that the MC sometimes doesn't feel like a 10yo, even after considering the context of the story, the world etc...For me personally it's not a problem but I admit that a 14yo would have been better, still slightly unrealistic but better than a 10yo. 6) The chapter recap is a waste of words in my opinion, it could be useful when bringing up an old pov that might have been "forgotten" but otherwise doing it every chapter is just redundant and not really useful for anything. 7) The comic interactions between characters are gold. 8) Characters are well made, they have good development and mostly realistic behavior. (considering the world setting) 9) Great story that mixes some conventional world building and mechanics with a nice amount of originality. The pace is a little slow for now but Author will pick it up soon enough. The novel is still in its early phase but it's really promising.
great book but the name of the book could be better
so far I really like the story! keep it up 💪
It started off as if it were in the middle of a chapter, expecting you, the reader, to already know a bit about this genre, so you might struggle getting into it because of that, but if just you read further, you’ll pick up everything pretty quickly. All in all, it’s a fine start. I like the parents, they feel like real people, and their relationship with their son is a lovely thing to read. The kids too, they actually act like kids, surprising, I know. Now the MC is a smart kid, quite kind, and an overall good character. He’s a literal walking mushroom. His ability so far amounts to “understanding.” Fun. Everything seems well thought out, especially the Academy, so far (chapter 28), I saw not even a single issue. The writing style is really good, don’t have any complaints about it. And the update stability is as well, if you like the genre I don’t doubt you’ll like this one. TLDR: Good. Stache stamp of approval.
This is a very solid story overall. The beginning was a bit rough in some parts but it got progressively better. The author does take his time in some areas, and I'll be honest it annoyed me a bit, but the payoffs were decent. The only real gripe I have is that I'm reading 10 yr olds making young adult decisions. MCs case make a bit of sense (cause of the intelligence buff) but not so much the others.. idk I feel like suspension of belief is more easily applied if the characters were at least 14-15
Can someone explain to me why such good stories have to be wasted by trash MCs??? I get it that he is a kid BUT His idea of "I need to prove my knowledge is correct" is 1. "Let me try to talk to the opponent while getting beaten to a pulp" or 2. "start spewing theories to the teacher in the 1st damn lesson". That's not what anyone calls "Using every day efficiently" as he says it. I guess eventually they will start to believe him, but his way is the same like a baby learning to walk on 2 hands then start using his legs. Unreal.
Auto added after reading author's other work, Utopian system. This novel is just in its starting phase but already promises to be an entertaining piece. The grammer is excellent and the main character lovable...and dragons. I can never get enough dragons...
Was a beta reader for this work. It has good world building and flows extremely well. Also has Dragon Waifu's. The MC also isn't stupid, and the seemingly mushrooms he has are OP! Did I forget to say it has dragon Waifus?
okay first things first I got I have to make it clear I don't think it's a bad story I actually think it could be good later on it's just for me it's much too slow paced I appreciate the writing of this story I think it could be a good one it's just not for me thank you though
I love how you can convey the emotions of each adventure, it amazes me, I even laugh at how the protagonist navigates each event... it's great storytelling!!!
I read to chapter 200. To start I have to say the MC is way too spineless and seems almost mentally disabled with the way his thinking is. Instead of leveraging his information and capitalizing on it. He decides it’s better to just give it out for free and let people use him and not care about it. I understand he’s supposed to be 10 (btw how is he still 10 without a single dragon 200 chapters in. The pacing is terrible). The story started out unique but the Mc’s personality is horrible and I hope he grows a spine in the future instead of just being a simp to the harem of girls following him around using him.
Beta reader. We in for the long-haul Fellas. Has extremely good face slapping. Waifu interactions also feel genuine. In short, gets really awesome later round chapter 20.
Writing to get an answer Foreword: what im going to say is constructive critisism not hate. Im at chapter 54 now and really enjoying reading it so far, but i feel like when you are describing several thing be it monsters or people the descriptions seem so lacking, like i get not wanting too many words becuase of word limit and price, but it dosent really take many words to give a bit more of a detailed description. For example where im at noe is the part with shadow stalkers and weavers and the description of the weavers is fine i have envisiond what they look like, but same cant be said for the shadow stalkers, with the very limeted/lacluster description we got from them i cant for the love of me envision what its supposed to look like. Im saying this because i want to keep reading, and for all i know it might improve in future chapters, but so far it pains me because i love painting a about what im reading when im reading, with this now(for the most part at least) im unable to do so.
This story has been very engaging and has a high quality of writing. I feel like I am actually watching characters grow and getting invested into it.
