"When you think everything is going well, the world will flip you the middle finger."
__
A successful author.
After living an ideal life ... a loving family, amazing friends, a stable job, and a bestselling novel that made his name known across the world ..
he suddenly finds himself reincarnated inside his own story, written by his very hands.
And worst of all... inside the body of the weakest villain ... Frey.
A third-rate villain doomed to die in the earliest chapters. A worthless scumbag with trash talent ... hated by every other character in the story, with no redemption in sight.
But he refuses that fate. He rejects the entire world.
This author doesn't need the cliché of a second chance — he already lived the life he always wanted.
"Spare me the second chance nonsense. One chance was enough. I’m the one who created this world… and I’ll be the one to destroy it if I have to. I will return — to my world… my family… my life. No matter the cost."
Driven by a burning desire to return home, Frey begins his journey through a merciless world, one where his fate has already been written by godlike beings.
But how far can he go… and what will become of the world he once created?

To say I am shocked is an understatement...truly. When I first started reading the novel, the whole plot was haphazard, The world building was straight up copy paste, the writting barely fitting of a novel and the fight scenes...well, clearly not the best. One thing was good about it though..the pacing and the plot, and yet as I continued reading it, The author grew in real time. His writting refined to a point where he was really good. The world building grew, the butterfly effect true. It wasn't the simple the protagonist reacts to the world. No, The world reacted to the protagonist. Every character, was complex, real...Human, The plot only grew better and better until a point that it became peak. And then occured the Victoriad...That was without a doubt...PEAK. The conclusion, the journey , the struggle fitting, real as if the author had truly given life to the world. Author, I had judged you at the start, but I have to admit, you write GOOD. Thank you for such a great story.
This has been one hell of a ride. I just completed vol 1 (around 240 ch) and this is one of the best novels I read on this platform. Starting from many concepts from different novels, games jumbled together with some real world names, making it feel like some half-assed idea author threw in and hoped it works. Slowly but surely you begin to see that was not the case. I don't remember exactly when this novel shifted from a cheap copy of so many novels to one of the most underrated on this platform. After around ch 60-65 the similarities with other novels fade away and this transitions into a well crafted, albeit not perfect, and memorable experience. + great, very great story progression + amazing twists ( many small and some big) + A likeable MC (Not totally a villain, more of an antihero) + Side characters that have their own stories and ambitions. + great fight scenes (some underwhelming too but mostly great) + unpredictable, badass characters (not all) - power scaling sometimes feels meh, like it works mostly but sometimes it doesn't - the bad guys have more plot armour than the good ones (like bad : good survival ratio in near impossible scenarios is very high) - starting feels hard to get through + The wait for Victoriad was well worth it Overall a great novel and chapter release is also very fast.
Simply the Goat. This novel is gonna hit the TOP in no time, mark my words.
The writer combined several ideas from several works to come up with this masterpiece. I envy any reader who has not started reading it yet to live that experience. good luck .
Just started reading this story and I gotta say, it's pretty interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the OG protagonist will react to the presence of our MC [img=update][img=update][img=update]
The best Author/Reader transmigrated into a Villain/Reader by far. The MC has a goal from the start and would do everything he can to achieve it. He is also not OP, evertime he becomes stronger, more powerful enemies he meet. The side characters feel like they are alive, everyone has his own personality and goals. Same goes for the Villains and antagonists, they are not just “Villains”. No, they all have goals some are good and some are evil. Power System might be at first lame, simple and have been used a lot, but after a certain level everything changes and it becomes more complex. The World is full of rich history from thousands, millions of years back with wars that change the universe etc… ( I can’t talk more or the Author will kill me lol) Finally for clarification this Novel has more that 200+ chapter in another website since the Author native language is not English. Again trust me when I say it’s one of the best novels out there just read it and you will thank me later. . .. Absolute Cinema ✋🏻🙂↕️🤚🏻
Let’s do a constructive critique. First of all, the title and tag are misleading. I’m currently on chapter 88, and so far, the protagonist is far from being a villain. I don’t even think he leans towards lawful evil—he's more of a neutral character. What are the issues with the book? The protagonist is not a villain. As the title suggests, we were promised a villain. However, what we get is an MC whose main goal is to return to his world and reunite with his family. This premise isn’t inherently bad if executed well, but after reading a good number of novels, I believe this is far from what a villain should pursue. I define villain as someone who opposes the status quo, someone who disrupts the established order. A villain doesn’t just chase a personal goal; they strive for supremacy and impose their own vision upon the world. The system feels irrelevant. Throughout the story, the system feels like an afterthought. The MC barely relies on it, and when he does, it’s mostly used as a comedic device—which, in my opinion, falls flat. Going back to the first point, the MC claims he would do anything to return home, but when the system gives him stupid missions (which, yes, I agree they are), he refuses to complete them. This completely contradicts the narrative. A villain does whatever it takes to achieve their goals, so it makes no sense for him to ignore these missions, no matter how ridiculous they seem. (He does end up doing some of them, but the issue remains.) The narrative and tone. This is more of a personal opinion, but I hope my fellow readers share my thoughts. If we’re reading a novel tagged as villain, it’s because we expect a serious story with darker themes. Humor is fine in moderation, but here, it’s overused. If I wanted to read comedy, I would read comedy. That being said, I appreciate the author’s effort in writing this novel. It’s not a masterpiece or the best book I’ve ever read, but so far, it’s an acceptable read to pass the time. The author hasn’t given us a true villain, but maybe they are laying the groundwork for a shift in the character—or at least, that’s what I’ve been led to believe throughout the chapters. I encourage the author to keep writing. I haven’t gotten bored with the story so far, which is a good thing. I also suggest reading novels with proper villains. It may sound repetitive, but reading RI (Reverend Insanity) could provide a better understanding of what is not exactly a villain, but something very close to one. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Best regards!
I can say with pride that the novel is one of the best in its genre. There are many web novels that fail in many things, like the rhythm of the story and the characters relationships, also the characters interaction, but the most important thing is the planning of the story. I am really confident this novel surpass the most popular novels because of the author; the author takes his time planning the story, and I'm sure it will never disappoint the reader. I hope all the new readers give it a chance because it's the type of novel that respects your mind, and I hope the author continues his cooking.
"The novel has a good beginning, and I believe it has a bright future. The MC doesn't think like other heroes; he has a goal he wants to achieve."
Oh my god what a masterpiece. Absolute Cinema This novel should have a manga why not ? light can strike this novel is one of the best in this genre. It is a wonderful novel with immense potential, as well as a diverse range of characters, especially the unique protagonist. I recommend giving this novel a chance, and I assure you that you will not regret it. I guarantee this, on my personal responsibility.
The start was good but the more you read the more frustrated you become. Had so much potential but ruined by authors own stupid choices. The antagonists dont die, everyone has plot armor I guess. The system feels irrelevant. The stupid names of characters and places in the novel really affects the immersion. The author said he was a GOT fan but everything has limits. Naming almost everything based on another very popular work makes it impossible to take this novel seriously. AND EVERYONE HAS WHITE HAIR
