While many of the clans who’d come to spectate made their way out of Astral Stone, the ones who stayed behind were those of the three Major Clans. Each of their High Councils had been dismissed, and while the Mages were more than willing to depart, the Werewolf and Vampire High Councils seemed adamant about staying behind. They eventually followed their dismissal orders and left their monarchs in the Main Hall. Those who remained were James, Erik, Orion, Kaia, and Sol. 


“The rest of you can go,” Aiden said to several members of the Celestial Council, and they departed as well, leaving behind Osiris, Melody, Alicia, and Adrian. Once they were gone from the room, Alexandra could see the exhaustion settle in on her uncle. “So, now that we’ve gotten through the easy part, we’ll be handling the hard part.” 


“The hard part?” Shaun repeated. “What does that mean?” 


“This is a meeting of the true Celestial Council,” Adrian nodded as he produced a knife from thin air and looked it over.
