Chapter 5: First Mission

"Your Highness, welcome to your first mission." General Melchor said.

"Thank you."

"Just do your best. I know you will succeed."

I smiled. "You can count on me. It's for the Akkadian Kingdom."

He gave me a thumbs up. He approved it.

"Everyone, listen. We are here now for the first mission of the dear prince. Let's see how the dear prince will defeat his enemies. How can he win his battle, his trials? May the majesty, our Lord God guide you and succeed in your mission.”

Everyone applauded. “For Prince Aldrich! For the Akkadian Kingdom.”

"Let's begin your first mission, Your Highness."

I nodded. This is it. Please my God, guide me. I prayed and listened carefully to the instructions on my first mission.

“Your Highness, this is your first mission. Listen carefully.” He paused then inhaled. I'm nervous. I just hope I don't get into trouble.

“There at the lotus flower your majesty, you must find something that will enthrone you as king. What kind of majesty does that symbolize for you to be king?”

I think thoroughly. Only one thing comes to mind as a symbol of royalty and that is a crown.

"Are you ready, Your Highness?"

"I'm ready."

“Your Majesty, you only have one hour to find it. The time today is 9 in the morning. So you must have seen that thing before 10 or 10 in the morning."

"Okay."

"Time starts now."

I started looking. I walked through the water surrounded by lotus flowers. With the number of lotus flowers and the size of the water, I only wish I could see the crown. I looked one by one at the lotus flowers I saw, but the crown didn't seem to be here.

I dive into the water. I swam to the very bottom. It's a good thing and it's not in the rules that I'm not allowed to use power. So I can use it freely now. But it's surprising that the instructions didn't say that. What if I'm not allowed to use my power? But how can I find the crown if I don't use it?

But this is more confusing. I'm at the bottom of the water but why don't I run out of breath? I haven't used my power yet. What went wrong?

When I swam underwater to look for the crown I was surprised by what I saw. I saw a big fish. So the fish fillet is true, I thought it was just a fantasy and does not exist in the kingdom. Shit. I need to escape because when they catches me, I

will die.

I was anxious by the small pieces of fish coming my way. I immediately swam back up but shit, they were so fast, they were about to catch up with me. My foot hit a rock. How could there be a stone here?

Just as I was about to bite into the small pieces of fish, a light enveloped me. The fish fillets left immediately, even the big fish fillets. I can no longer see them in the water. Where did they go? Is that an illusion?

I sat on the rock. Because my foot hurt. I need to get out of the water, my wound hurts more. It's bleeding.

I swam back up again when I hit something, an underwater plant and it was a………………

Rose flower. How to have a rose flower here? Impossible! I swam it and when I arrived. It was a rose flower, still red in color, and there was a piece of paper next to it. I read it.

"Beyond sacrifices, love for your people, your kingdom and to me Your King is your greatest priority. Your love for your Only Love is your greatest inspiration.”

Most High

After I read what was written on the paper. I realized that the Lord Almighty wrote it. Thank you God for guiding me. I held the rose flower. Later on, it changed and become a crown.

I was amazed. Fantastic. The crown is beautiful. I see it. I found it. I swam back up until I saw the light.

I saw the joy on their faces when I found the crown. I immediately got out of the water. I showed them all that the crown is the symbol of a king.

Everyone applauded. "Congratulations, your majesty. You accomplished your first mission.”

"Thank you all so much."

"We thought something gonna happen to you, your majesty. We're nervous because it's almost time for your first mission to end. It's a good thing your majesty that you did it and got back here before 10 in the morning.”

"Yes! Thanks to the Almighty. He guided me."

They applauded again. "Long live Prince Aldrich."

“Live.”

"There are only two missions left Your Highness, may you be blessed and succeed."

"You can hope that I will succeed."

"You can rest now, Your Highness." I nodded at him and bid goodbye to them.

"Congratulations, your majesty is great."

I frowned as I heard someone speaking in my mind. She used telepathy power.

"Who are you?"

She giggled. "It's Eurylice, your majesty."

I think I blushed upon hearing her name. Did I miss this woman?
