Planning time.....i

With a disappointed but hopefull face, Wanjiru left the tavern. He was minus a hundred and eleven copper coins as each mug cost four copper coins and he had drunk two of them.

Wanjiru quickly left slums and walked to the business district.By now, his stomach was rumbling, which didn't come as a surprise for him since from the information he received from the curvy prostitute as an extra bonus for not demanding a refund as she didn't fulfill his second need,he knew that this Legacy Land was a true world, the world that would sometime in future devour earth.

Though she didn't tell him directly as the seven stars council prohibited the aboriginals from diversing the truth to the earthlings.

Wanjiru was also astonished to learn that these aboriginals were all prisoners that the council sent to the Legacy Land as punishment for their crime.

With his current knowledge in mind, Wanjiru walked into a large inn. The inn's interior wasn't something to talk off as it was bald compared to the few inns he had been into both in the real world and ingame.

The only thing that caught his eyes were the beautiful elven waitress. Heading to the counter,he inquired about the prices of their rooms before opting to pay for a VIP room that costed him a hundred and five copper coins for seven days.

By now he had already spent more than three hundred copper coins on bribes, information, the lodging and the pair of cotton pants ,t-shirts and leather boots and a cloak he had picked from the business district.

From previous games, Wanjiru had learnt of how important an extra pair of cloth was important.

To him, whenever he played any new game, the first thing he bought after earning copper coins from quests and monsters were clothes.

He also ordered for his meals to be delivered into his room. After settling in his room and doing away with the meal delivered to him by the heavenly beauty elf.

He laid on his medium sized bed before logging out.

Back on earth,he did a few stretches before tidying up the bed and walking downstairs.

It seemed that the rest were still exploring Legacy Land.

Wanjiru walked into the kitchen and pondered on what to make. He had being in the game for close to two days but here on earth only several hours had passed, and from his calculation,he deducted that eight hours on earth were approximate to one day in Legacy Land.

It was almost morning and so he decided to prepare bacon for the rest and some rice and beef stew for himself. He preffered having a heavy breakfast as he was used to eating once a day.

This has been a habit of his for the past eighteen years, that began when he ventured into Virtual Reality Games.

Around seven in the morning, his mother walked downstairs as she inhaled the tantalizing aroma of bacon and beef stew. She tried sneaking up to him but he had already heard her soft footsteps.

"Don't even think about it..."

Wanjiru who she thought was fully engrossed in his cooking said to her.

"Hhhmmmppp!"

"Morning to mum..."Wanjiru said as he slightly chuckled from the look that the mother gave.

"How's the game?"

He asked as he poured her a mug of tea and placed a slice of bacon and toasted bread on her plate.

"What game?"

Her tone was one filled with anger.

"Oh, that's a first from you."

Wanjiru said as he quickly served a plateful of rice and stew before joining his mother at the kitchen counter.

"I have to run a few quest for a two good days as to earn enough points to raise my status to commoner..."she angrily said as she took a big bite of bacon.

"This is heavenly,who taught you..."

She said as she poked at him.

"I learnt from the best cook under the heavens..."

A mischievous smile formed on his mother's face.

"I wonder who this cook is?"

She said as she took a sip and another bite of bacon.

"Me to..."

Wanjiru said and this cost him a light slap from the mother.

They ate in silence and when they were done,he did the dishes and joined the mother on the sofa where she was busy watching news.

According to the news, many had already logged into Legacy Land.

The news didn't interest Wanjiru as he already new the hidden secret of Legacy Land. He speculated the different government organizations and those from families with large heritage and special bloodlines knew of this, for according to the news,it seems that those from the Chinese Imperial Families and Britain's Royal family had received some kind of legacy that put them miles ahead of the commoners.

All this was a clear indication and proof of the nature of Legacy Land.

But to Wanjiru,he didn't care about others as long as nobody interfered with his great plan.

"The world ain't as simple as it looks..."

The mother looked at him weirdly.

"Why do you think saw?"

"I don't think so...."swing the questioning look on her face,he sighed and added,"I know so."

By now,his mum's curiosity was at its peak.

"What do you mean?"

"Am sorry I can't tell for they are listening... they're watching our evey action..."

"Who are 'they'?"

Wanjiru squinted at his mum, before he dejectedly shook his head,"I don't want to risk it by saying more than I already have."

"Just know that, every action counts in the end..."he stood as he headed for the door,"Am sorry I can't play with the rest of you this time round, but the only promise I can make is to build heaven for you all."

He said as he walked out of the door leaving his mother to her own thoughts. He knew well that she had already grasped the hidden meaning in his words and hoped that she would talk to his siblings, and convince them not to play around in Legacy Land but to forge their own path as they all waited for the heaven he had promised.

She knew well how unluckly his son was but from the conviction and ambition in his voice, she knew well that this time it was going to different.

Only she knew how committed his hard headed son could be when he truly ment it.

A smile formed on her face but it quickly vanished when she remembered the last time she saw that committed look on his face.

It was about twenty or so years ago when he put on that look and vow to never ever marry, and to date,he had stuck to his vow.

A vow that truly hurt her as she wanted to hold her grandkids but all she could is put up with him for she knew nothing could make him change his mind.

Hailing a taxi, Wanjiru left for his apartment.
