CHAPTER 86

The case had finally ended but the reporters didn't give up in their annoying questions as they exited the courtroom. Yoo Na wasn't in the least disappointed that In Ra hadn't been charged, it was expected.

Dae Hyun had to leave along with Min Hye as he had an important meeting to attend, leaving Cha Eun behind with the girls.

The reporters swarmed around them but they were immediately shooed away by the security, making them stand about five meters away from them.

Jisoo clenched her fist tightly in anger as they walked down the stairs from the courthouse. If she had known it would end in an ugly way, she would never had agreed to the court hearing or even dare to sue In Ra, now there was no doubt In Ra would make her life a living hell and she would see very well to it that it was.

In Ra's mother had escorted her to the court house but In Ra immediately told her mother to wait in the car a few minutes for her, being the meek minded woman she was and knowing how In Ra's anger flared up, she obediently did as her daughter asked.

In Ra walked with slow, elegant movements towards the trio as they were coming down the stairs, making them halt in their steps as their eyes met hers.

The corner of her red painted lips was curved up in a sardonic smirk as her black eyes glinted with malicious intent while she stared at them. She felt the feeling of bliss knowing they had lost miserably to her but she would reach her peak of excitement once she saw their gruesomely murdered corpses.

She hated none as much as she hated the trio, Cha Eun not excluded. He was nothing more than a weakling to her now and she wondered why she was fighting so much to be with him when could be with someone more powerful and like her, someone who was no coward and would do anything to get what he wanted Someone like...Dae Hyun?

Dae Hyun crossed her mind, yes, he was a psychotic serial killer but she could see his future plans so vividly like the stars glowing brightly in the skies and it was epic.

It was obvious he was aiming for the chairman position for Apex and ever since she knew Cha Eun, she had met Dae Hyun a few times as he was friends with the Kim family, but now, it all made sense to her.

She finally figured it out, everything started to make sense to her slowly, she hadn't suspected him when she wasn't aware of him being the killer but now that she knew, she could see his motives ever so clearly, he was only after one thing all along.....Power.

He had only being friends with the Kim family to be more acquainted with the wealth he was going to attain from them with smart, diabolic moves which she greatly admired. Like the saying went, keep your enemies close and he did a great job at keeping them closer to his side than family even.

She mostly admired how he camouflaged perfectly into the society like a normal, law abiding citizen when he was nothing but a psychopathic serial killer, she was impressed and awed by his great tactics.

With his brains and his killer instincts, acquiring an Empire wouldn't be hard for him and if there was any man she would go for, it would be Dae Hyun, he was a genius, good looking and a goal driven, ambitious man, but unfortunately for her, he was already married, so she could do nothing about it but pray inwardly that his wife would die in a tragic accident.

She focused her attention on the trio she was there to meet and obviously mock at their faces.

Yoo Na watched as she walked to them with a devilish lopsided smirk on her devilish face, she wanted nothing more than to follow her anger and punch it off but she'd lose if she were to do that.

They'd all see her as the attacker instead of the other way round, but then, she couldn't care about what the public thought, she couldn't care if they saw her as the villain or not, because that was exactly what she was going to be, a villain in her own story and she was sure to give In Ra a taste of her bitter medicine.

"How was the court hearing, was it fun?"

I'm Ra's mockery filled voice rang in their ears, making a displeased look wear on their faces.

"You won, but it wasn't fair, we all know you can't stand on your own without daddy's money." Cha Eun retorted immediately, his eyes already burning with anger. He got irritated by the day every time he looked at her face, he couldn't stand her sight and being, he wondered how such a vile being was created to be a human.

She took a step forward to them with slow, calculated steps and a sardonic smirk garnishing her face.

"In case you haven't noticed, I wasn't aiming for a fair fight, play fair and you lose, don't you guys ever learn from your lessons?" She tsked as she shook her head in exasperation.

"Money isn't going to save you from everything and I assure you that karma will get to you." Yoo Na stated out in a firm voice, her eyes dead and emotionless, making her seem more intimidating but In Ra refused to be intimidated by a pauper.

"Trying to scare me? Guess what, my money will always save me and bitch, I don't believe in karma." She retorted fiercely but it was low enough for the reporters not to hear their foul conversation.

"What about you Jisoo, won't you chip in?" Her voice was low with a dreary tone to it as her attention dropped on the girl.

She hovered her hand above Jisoo's head as she lowered her head a bit to her length, making Jisoo whimper in fear that she was about to hit her. Cha Eun and Yoo Na waited for her to make a mistake so everyone could see who she really was, but her next move left them perplexed.

Her hands gently landed on the side of her hair, running her fingers through her short hair that hung above her shoulder, which had already been trimmed to equal lengths properly.

"I made a wig with your hair, sorry to bring this up Cha Eun, but it looked just like your mother's...." In Ra drawled with a sardonic smirk plastered on her face, her black eyes glinting darkly as she spoke.

Cha Eun's eyes burned with fury and the thin thread of sanity he had held broke into two like a twig as she spoke about his mother's death. He lunged at her with fury blocking his senses but Yoo Na was quick to hold him back, preventing him from pushing her down the stairs.

In Ra laid unmoving even as Cha Eun was about to attack her, she didn't flinch or bat an eyelid at his brash movements, but the devilish smirk still glued to her face as she drove him to act irrationally in front of everyone.

The clicking of cameras could be heard in a haste as the reporters found a new trending headline for their news company.

"Cha Eun calm down, don't listen to her." Yoo Na spoke with a softer tone making Cha Eun stop trying to attack her but he was still furious.

"I'll make sure every one of you regrets suing me, no, I'll make sure you regret everything you've all ever done, it's not an empty threat but funnily, I won't have to raise a finger." She said with a dark tone as she let go of Jisoo's hair.

"See you all in hell." Her final words before she mechanically turned around and walked away disappearing from their sight.

Yoo Na's hunch on her elevated as she was being too carefree and it was obvious she knew something as she was overly confident in promising them that they would live to regret their actions. The way she spoke about Cha Eun's mother made her seem like a heartless maniac, it was just a hunch, but if she was collaborating with the anonymous gift killer, it would be a deadly team.

Yoo Na thought inwardly.
