"Time to earn my hero name," Mokami muttered to himself as he walked into his hidden lab that no one knew. This lab was so hidden that even he didn't know where it was. He created a secret mechanism that would expunge this information from his mind as soon as he left this place, and only could be led by the secret chip in his mind. This chip required a code, that could not be hacked, and his body signature.

Even when as he was walking to this lab, he didn't know its location but was just following the direction the chip in his mind was giving. And he could only go through underground tunnels. This was his safest place. Even more than his home. Not because there was anything important there, but actually the opposite. This place had all sorts of disposable things. Such as; Criminals, rare animals, and some small-time villains. People who deserved what was happening to them most.

"Ah, still the same." He said as he looked at the lab after opening the earth door. The door was literally made of dirt. From outside, it looked just like a regular earth layer but when he approached, that secret chip gave the signal and when he stood on a certain spot, the door slid open.

"Even after all these years, I still can't create a creature from nothing." He sighed as he sat behind his desk, looking at the dead insect. For years, he studied anatomy and the atomic formula of creatures and tried to create one but he failed every single time.

"I can create living things. I can create new organs and replace them, but I can't create from nothing." There were close to a hundred villains in his lab that he brought to the brink of death and saved by creating new organs. Since his organs weren't attached to any living body before transferring to the new body, there was no rejection. In a sense, he could lengthen a person's lifespan indefinitely, except he was missing something.

"Is soul real?" He muttered. He was a scientist at heart and denied the existence of such a paranormal thing, but the more he tried, the more uncertain he became. "There was this experiment where the scientist placed a person in an isolated room. Not even air could leak out from that room. And when that person died, 21 grams vanished. Its name was a 21-gram experiment. People claimed that it was the soul that escaped and since it is not something in three dimensions, it could escape the isolated room through higher dimensions.

If there is a soul, can I even create it? What is the atomic formula?"

"According to soul creationism, God creates each individual soul directly, either at the moment of conception or some later time. According to traducianism, the soul comes from the parents by natural generation. According to the preexistence theory, the soul exists before the moment of conception. Neither helps me...

Wait, since the soul comes from parents in one of the theories, can I put my soul into my creations? According to some religions, God created humans and breathed divine breath into them. What if I try to imitate it?"

He looked at the incest and then shook his head. "I don't want to give my soul to a cockroach. No offense Papa Roach."

He walked up to an empty desk and closed his eyes. His power started to move throughout his body. From his heart to his brain, from there to his toes and arms, legs, hips, genitals, lungs, liver, kidneys, and back to the heart. He circulated over and over again and looked for a clue. Where was the soul?

"It is in every cell." He thought, and a white light appeared on his right hand without him realizing it. He raised his left hand and bones started to appear. Then other tissues, organs, muscles, skin, and feathers. In twenty minutes, a hummingbird came to be. But it was lifeless as if it was stuffed. Mokami didn't open his hand and only focused on his power. When his right hand touched the bird, something incredible happened.

"Chirp, chirp."

"Fuck me." He exclaimed as he opened his eyes. "It worked!"

He looked at the bird chirping while looking at him in confusion and affection.

"I thought I would divide my soul to create another soul, but it is not as if it is me. It is like, it is part of me but at the same time it is not." He mumbled, then a wave of exhaustion hit him. "What is this? As if I haven't slept for a week.

It takes too much energy." He almost fell down. The bird flew closer to him clumsily and looked at him by tilting its head. "You are so damn cute. Is it because you are part of me?"

He felt a closeness to this creature. Like it was his kin or something. "How will I ever let you out now or experiment on you?"

He didn't think he would be able to hurt this creature. How could a person cut open his child to experiment on it? "Am I too sentimental?"

"Maybe, but I am okay with it." He sighed. "At least for my first creation. Maybe the more I create, the less I will care. Is this how God felt? Nah, he is not real anyway."

He believed the old pantheons were people with immense power that had been deified. Zeus? A person with Lightning Quirk. A kindred too, he too wanted to fuck his sister. He chuckled at his thought.

"I wonder if anyone had a power like mine?" He thought to himself. There were some pantheons that could create other creatures. Hell, even Zeus created his daughter without a mother but they were myths after all.

"What should I name you now?" He petted the hummingbird and felt how vulnerable the animal was. "I will give you a quirk later so you can protect yourself. I can't let you go and die on me."

"Chidori it is then." He chuckled and raised a finger. The bird landed on his stretched finger and looked at him. "You look smart. Is it because of my soul?

Well, I will discover slowly. Now I feel too tired." He walked to the room at the side and put the bird on the table. He created some bird food and put it on the table and put a glass of water. Then he threw himself to the bed and slept. He felt so tired.
