Last Dates Before Summer

Hello you all! I hope you're doing great! Lately, I've noticed a decrease in feedback and readings. I hope you're just taking a break and will continue reading, as one of my favorite moments in this fanfiction is fast approaching. The starting point of the climax of the third volume, "Chapter 157 - Watch Out!" will likely be published at the end of this month. The action and climax will reach their peak in "Chapter 159 - NO!" which will probably be published next month. "Chapter 165 - Impenetrable" is one of the best chapters I've written (in my opinion) and will mark the end of the third volume a week later. To be completely honest, I wrote this chapter in my first week, after ten or twenty drafts, long before I started publishing, and I'm happy to have brought the story to the point I wanted. I hope you'll enjoy these events as much as I did while writing them. I still keep an eye out for any plot holes but haven't found any yet. Enough teasing, I just wanted to let you know that Volume 4 will shift into a slightly darker tone. Have fun and peace!

Mokami sat on the edge of his bed, mind racing as he thought about the series of dates he'd been on recently. He couldn't help but smile as he recalled each one, the warmth of their embraces, and the deep connections he'd forged.

He knew that keeping his relationships with Momo and Mika a secret was necessary, as dating his sister and mom were frowned upon in society. The weight of those secrets weighed heavily on him, but the love he shared with them made it worth the burden.

He began with his date with Momo. They'd spent the evening in a secluded, moonlit garden, exchanging stories and dreams as they shared a simple yet elegant meal. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and Mokami could still feel the softness of Momo's hand in his.

"Momo, tonight has been absolutely amazing. I never thought I could feel this close to someone," Mokami said, gazing deeply into her eyes.

"Me too, Mokami. I feel like I can share anything with you," Momo replied, her voice filled with emotion.

As the night came to an end, they stood in front of their house, their eyes locked, and Mokami felt the pull of her gaze drawing him closer. They shared a deep, romantic kiss, their emotions soaring, before they reluctantly parted ways for the night.

Next was Mika. They'd spent their time together in an intimate, candlelit room, discussing their shared passions and fears. Mokami could still hear the soft melodies of the piano playing in the background as they talked.

"Mom, being with you like this makes me feel alive. I didn't realize how much I was suppressing," he said, his voice filled with longing.

"I feel the same, Mokami. There's something about this that just feels... right," Mika replied, her words punctuated by a gentle smile.

Once again, they found themselves sharing a passionate kiss in front of their house, hearts racing as they reluctantly said their goodbyes for the night.

With Eire, their date had been more conventional, yet still filled with warmth and romance. A candlelit dinner, followed by a movie, and ending with a night of passion in a luxurious hotel room. Mokami still felt the electricity that coursed through him when their lips met and their bodies entwined.

Nejire's date mirrored Eire's, with the same romantic dinner and movie. However, Nejire's gentle touch and soft whispers lingered in Mokami's mind, making him yearn for more.

Inko's date was also filled with romance, passion, and a night spent in a hotel room. Mokami found comfort in her presence and felt a connection he hadn't experienced before.

Then there was Toru, their relationship still new and exciting. They'd shared an evening of laughter and lighthearted conversation, and Mokami could still feel the warmth of her hand in his.

As they stood outside her home, Toru pulled him into a powerful, lasting kiss that left Mokami breathless and wanting more.

"Moka-chan, I don't know what the future holds for us, but I know that right now, I don't want to be anywhere else," Toru said, pulling Mokami into a powerful, searing kiss.

"I feel the same, Toru-chan. There's something special between us," Mokami replied, his heart pounding with emotion.

Finally, Mina, who wore her emotions openly and showered Mokami with affection. Their date had been filled with laughter and playful banter, ending with a passionate kiss that seemed to last an eternity.

"Mokami, I've never felt this way about anyone before. I don't know how to describe it, but it's like my heart is overflowing with love," Mina said, her eyes sparkling with emotion.

"Mina, I can't deny the connection we have. You make me feel alive and loved in a way I haven't experienced before."

As Mokami sat on his bed, reflecting on these whirlwind romances, he realized how deeply he cared for each of them. Each relationship was unique, with its own challenges and joys, but they all held a special place in his heart.

"I never thought I'd find myself in a situation like this, with so many incredible people in my life. But I can't help but feel that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be."

As he laid down, his thoughts drifting between the different relationships and the future that lay ahead, Mokami felt a sense of contentment. He knew that no matter what challenges they would face, the love and support they provided one another would help them overcome any obstacle.

As Mokami was about to drift into a blissful sleep, the door to his room creaked open, revealing Ryukyu standing in the doorway. She had chin-length blonde hair, which she wore swept back with a headband, a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye. She had thin, yellow, inward-tilting eyes with slit pupils and notably sharp teeth. Her face was flushed, and there was hesitance in her eyes as she stepped into the room.

Mokami straightened up in his bed, looking at the unexpected visitor with surprise, but waiting for her to speak. Ryukyu hesitated for a moment before she finally took a seat on the edge of his bed, and they sat in silence for ten minutes.

Finally, she spoke, her voice barely a whisper, "Mokami, I know your secret."

His eyes widened, and he felt a mix of shock and annoyance. He had just dealt with Mirko, and now Ryukyu wanted to blackmail him as well? Before he could react, Ryukyu's next words took him by surprise.

"I'm not here to use them against you. I know what you did to Mirko."

"Oh?" Mokami replied, his smile returning as he looked at Ryukyu.

"Look, I don't care if you're dating your sister and mom. I'm not going to judge you for it. I also don't care what you did to Mirko or that you're dating multiple women. I talked with Mirko, and she feels sorry but can't bring herself to speak with you. That's why I came to explain."

"No, Ryukyu. You didn't come for that," Mokami grinned as he looked at the pink hue on her face. "You certainly didn't dress to just say those words. The smell on your body and light makeup... you're here to impress me."

Ryukyu's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink, and she looked away, avoiding Mokami's gaze. "I... I just came to talk about Mirko. That's all."

Mokami leaned back against his headboard, a knowing smile on his lips. "Is that so? You're not here because you're curious about my relationships, or because you're interested in me?"

Ryukyu fidgeted with the hem of her shirt, trying to regain her composure. "I don't know what you're talking about. I just wanted to clear the air and make sure you're not angry with Mirko."

Mokami chuckled softly, "Ryukyu, I'm not angry with Mirko. I understand why she did what she did. But that's not what's important right now. What's important is that you're here, in my room, looking absolutely stunning. And I can't help but wonder why."

Ryukyu bit her lip, her eyes darting around the room as she tried to come up with an excuse. "I... I just wanted to look presentable. It's not like I dressed up for you or anything."

Mokami slowly moved closer to her, his eyes locked on hers. "You don't have to pretend, Ryukyu. It's okay to be curious, to be interested. And if you're willing to be honest with me, I'm willing to be honest with you."

As Mokami's words settled in, Ryukyu's shyness began to give way to a hint of flirtation. She looked up at him through her lashes, a small smile playing on her lips. "Fine, you caught me. I was curious about you and your relationships. But I didn't expect to feel... drawn to you."

Mokami's smile grew wider, and he reached out to gently brush a stray strand of hair away from her face. "I'm glad you decided to come here, Ryukyu. It's not every day that someone as beautiful and captivating as you walks into my life."

Ryukyu's blush deepened, and she smiled back, her initial shyness replaced by flirtatious banter. "Well, I guess I should be flattered that someone as charming and popular as you is giving me the time of day."

Mokami's hand lingered on her cheek, his thumb gently stroking her skin. "I'm the one who should be flattered. It's not every day that I get to spend time with a dragon."

Ryukyu laughed, the tension between them evaporating. "A dragon, huh? Well, I hope you're prepared to handle the heat."

Mokami grinned, "Oh, I think I can handle it."

Ryukyu's smile faded as she looked at Mokami with a wistful glance. "Mokami, you are many years younger than me."

"I don't care." Mokami caressed her cheek, as he looked into her eyes, "You are cute, Ryukyu, and you've been a mentor to Nejire for years. I want to give it a shot."

Ryukyu hesitated, her insecurities bubbling up inside her. "But what about all the other women in your life? How can you possibly juggle so many relationships at once?"

Mokami's expression softened, his eyes filled with sincerity. "I won't lie, it's not easy. But I genuinely care about each of them, and I'm willing to put in the effort to make it work. If you're willing to give it a shot, I promise to do everything in my power to make you happy."

Ryukyu bit her lip, her heart racing as she considered the possibility. "I… I'm scared, Mokami. What if I'm not enough for you? What if I can't handle sharing you with so many others?"

Mokami's thumb brushed gently against her cheek, his voice soothing. "It's natural to feel scared. But we can take it one step at a time, and if at any point you feel overwhelmed, we can talk about it. I'll always be honest with you, Ryukyu, and I hope you'll do the same with me."

Ryukyu took a deep breath, her eyes locked on Mokami's. "Alright. I'll give it a try, but I can't promise it'll be easy."

Mokami smiled warmly, "I wouldn't expect anything less from a dragon."

Their conversation continued late into the night, each opening up to the other, sharing their dreams, fears, and aspirations. As the sun began to rise, Ryukyu felt her heart swell with a mixture of excitement and trepidation for the journey that lay ahead.
