As the students of Class 1-A and 1-B arrived at the training grounds, they were greeted by the Subterranean Sentinels, who would be overseeing their quirk assessments that morning. Terraformer, the leader of the group, stood tall and imposing, his muscular build accentuated by the earth and rock that seemed to cling to his body.

"Good morning, students," he began. "Today, we'll be assessing your quirks individually. You'll each have a chance to demonstrate your abilities, and we'll provide feedback and initial recommendations for improvement."

The students nodded, each eager to showcase their quirks and impress their mentors. Terraformer continued, "We'll begin with Class 1-A. Please step forward when your name is called."

Momo was the first to demonstrate her quirk, Creation. With a flourish of her hand, she materialized a small cannon from her skin. The others watched in awe as she fired a small projectile at a target in the distance, hitting it dead center.

Lumina, the hero who could manipulate and generate light, clapped her hands. "Impressive, Momo. You have excellent control over your quirk. To further improve, you might want to focus on increasing the speed at which you create objects."

"Thank you, Lumina," Momo replied with a respectful bow.

The quirk assessments continued with students showcasing their abilities one by one. Some were flashy and powerful, like Bakugo's explosions or Todoroki's ice and fire manipulation, while others were more subtle, like Hagakure's invisibility or Jiro's sound manipulation.

As each student demonstrated their quirk, the Subterranean Sentinels offered guidance and suggestions for improvement. Terraformer provided strategic advice, Lumina focused on the students with light-based quirks, Echo offered expertise on sound manipulation, and Mistwalker guided those who could benefit from her knowledge of mist and fog.

When it was Midoriya's turn, he nervously stepped forward. As he activated his quirk, One For All, a surge of power coursed through his body. He focused on a target in the distance and, with a determined shout, launched a powerful punch that sent a shockwave through the air, obliterating the target.

Terraformer raised an eyebrow, impressed. "Your quirk is incredibly powerful, Midoriya. But you need to work on controlling that power. It's important not to let it overwhelm you or cause injury. Focus on gradually increasing the percentage of power you use and maintaining control."

Midoriya nodded, taking in the advice. "Yes, sir. I'll do my best."

Class 1-B followed after Class 1-A, with students like Ibara Shiozaki, who could manipulate her hair-like vines, and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, who could transform his body into steel, showcasing their quirks.

As Pony Tsunotori stepped forward, she activated her quirk, Horn Cannon. Her horns glowed with energy, and she launched them towards a series of targets. Each one hit its mark with pinpoint accuracy. As her horns regenerated, she looked towards the mentors with anticipation.

Mistwalker smiled. "Well done, Pony. You have excellent control over your quirk. To improve even further, you might want to work on increasing the speed of your horn regeneration and experimenting with different trajectories for your attacks."

"Thank you, Mistwalker!" Pony replied, her eyes shining with determination.

After the last student had demonstrated their quirk, the Subterranean Sentinels gathered together for a brief discussion. Terraformer then addressed the students once more.

"Overall, we're impressed with your abilities and your dedication to improving your quirks," he announced. "We'll be working closely with you throughout your time here to help you grow as heroes. Remember, the most important thing is to never stop learning and pushing yourselves to become better."

The students nodded, taking in the words of wisdom from the experienced heroes. As they dispersed to continue with the day's training exercises, they felt a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

The afternoon arrived, and four students were randomly chosen for lunch duty: Shoji, Kirishima, Sato, and Fukidashi. They worked together in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for their classmates, all while chatting and getting to know each other better.

As lunch was served, the students sat down together to eat and talk. Mokami found himself seated between Mina and Momo. Across the table, Toru, Asui, Jiro and Itsuka exchanged knowing glances before engaging Mokami in conversation.

"Hey Mokami," Jiro said, "what did you think of this morning's quirk assessments?"

Mokami smiled. "I thought everyone did really well. It's impressive to see how far we've all come since starting at UA."

Asui chimed in, "I agree, ribbit. And you're pretty amazing yourself, Mokami. Your quirk is very versatile."

Mokami smiled, thanking her for the compliment. The group continued to chat about their quirks and the feedback they received from the Subterranean Sentinels. Aizawa and Vlad King observed the students from a distance, pleased to see the camaraderie forming between the two classes.

Once lunch was over, it was time for the afternoon practice to begin. The students gathered on the training grounds, ready for team-building activities designed to strengthen their trust and communication skills. Aizawa addressed the class, explaining the importance of teamwork in the field of heroics.

"Today, we will focus on building trust and communication among your peers. As future heroes, you must learn to rely on one another and work together effectively. We have prepared a series of exercises to help you develop these essential skills."

Vlad King took over, outlining the afternoon's activities. "First, we'll begin with trust exercises. You'll be paired up with a partner and take turns performing trust falls. Remember to rely on your partner and support each other."

The students paired up and began the trust falls. Mokami found himself partnered with Jiro, who seemed both excited and nervous about the exercise. As they took turns catching each other, they shared a few laughs and grew more comfortable with the activity.

Next up were blindfolded obstacle courses. The pairs remained the same, but this time one partner was blindfolded while the other guided them through the course using only verbal instructions. This exercise proved challenging, as the students had to rely solely on their partner's directions and trust that they would guide them safely.

Mokami and Jiro worked well together, communicating effectively and navigating the course with relative ease. They watched as other pairs stumbled and laughed, learning the importance of clear communication and trust.
