Kou is a high school student who is a tough cosplay critic and is determined to manage his favorite cosplayer, Mimirin. His skills make companies chase him for a management offer, but he rejects it all.

However, when Mimirin quits the industry, Kou feels lost and is determined to bring her back before the Cosplay Contest ends. The problem is that Mimirin is under contract and will be banned forever if she misses the event.

Just when Kou is at his lowest, a teenage elf named Sera appears in his room. Sera has just fled a brutal massacre in her hometown and is traumatized. She wants to return home and away from humans that harmed her family.

Soon, Kou will realize Sera’s potential to become a cosplayer. The story takes us on a friendship, cosplay, and adventure journey as Kou and Sera work together to save Mimirin’s career and overcome their struggles.

This is a brilliant start. The first few chapters foreshadow the possibility of not only multiple worlds, but that some people are actually aware of the existence of these parallel worlds. The MC obviously has a family that is involved in one way or another with transactions between the human and the elven worlds since they readily accepted the fact of a normal elf popping into their house. The interactions between the elf and the humans shows the delicate relationsh of little trust between the two races, and perhaps only the younger generation aren’t constrained by these feelings as they meet and establish connections through an MMORPG game. These short 9 chapters opened the gates for countless possible plot developments and I won’t lie, keeping the balance between the interrelationships of the human and elven grownups, the younger generations, and the in-game plot will be very challenging as it is intriguing. A story of this magnitude is better done slowly and calmly, don’t rush with the writing! One lovely chapter per day will do. ❤️

Lemme start. It's very scary how the MC is literally too similar to... uhh... a friend of mine... HAHAHAHA OH MY GOD WTH I'm not hardcore otaku but I'd consider a VERY PROUD DEGEN BASEMENT DWELLER. Anyways, slice of life, with some drama, and then otaku stuff YESEYEYSYESYEYSYEY IF YOU LIKE THAT READ THIS BOOK YOU B-BAKA!

I like first-person point-of-view style in this story. The narrative is simple and easy to understand, suit for people with short patience like me. The plot is also good pacing, not too slow or fast. Overall, this novel is pretty good for the light novel style.
