Chapter 6: It Was Tom

As I began my investigation, I started tracing the phone calls and messages that Emma had received. I knew it was a long shot, but I was determined to find out who was behind the threats.

I spent hours pouring over phone records and messages, trying to find any clues that would lead me to the person responsible. And finally, after days of searching, I found something.

A phone number that appeared repeatedly in Emma's call logs. It was the number of a burner phone, but it was a start. I traced the phone to a small town on the outskirts of the city.

I knew I had to go there and see if I could find out more. So, I packed a bag and set off on the long drive.

When I arrived in the small town, I started asking around, trying to find out if anyone knew anything about the phone number. And eventually, I found someone who recognized it.

He told me that the phone belonged to a young man named Tom, who was the son of a powerful senator. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I knew I had to find out more about Tom, so I started digging deeper. And what I found shocked me to the core.

Tom had a history of violence and had been arrested multiple times for assault. He was also known to have a temper and had been involved in several incidents of road rage.

I knew I had to go to the police with this information. So, I gathered all the evidence I had and went to the station to file a report.

But when I arrived, the police arrested me on the spot. They said that I was trespassing and that I was interfering with an ongoing investigation.

I was shocked and confused. How could the police arrest me for trying to help?

After spending a night in jail, I was finally able to make bail, thanks to Yuna. And when I got out, I was determined to find out the truth about Tom and Emma's death.

As I dug deeper, I found out that Tom had been following Emma for weeks, and had been sending her threatening messages. He had been stalking her, and she had been too scared to tell anyone.

I knew that I had to bring Tom to justice for what he had done. So, I gathered all the evidence I had and went to the police once again.

But this time, I was prepared. I had a plan to take down Tom and make sure that he would never hurt anyone again.

It was time for justice to be served.
