Yuna took a deep breath before speaking, her eyes locked on mine. "Alex is making a real-life version of a video game," she said, her voice low and urgent. "It's a battle royale, where a hundred people are stranded on an island and have to fight to the death until only one remains."
I felt a chill run down my spine as Yuna continued. "The plan is almost complete, and we need to catch him before he leaves the island. Right now, there are hundreds of Alex's people on that island, and my squad is moving on them. But I don't think they can make it. We need to act fast if we want to stop him."
I frowned, trying to process the information. "But how do we even get there? It's an island, right?"
Yuna nodded. "Yes, and it's heavily guarded. But this warehouse is close to the island. We can take the jet ski outside and make it there fast. But it won't be easy, Jack. It'll be dangerous, and I don't want you to get hurt. You should leave this to me."
I shook my head. "No way, Yuna. I'm not letting you go alone. We're in this together, remember? We'll take the jet ski and get there fast. And we'll make sure Alex doesn't leave that island until he's brought to justice."
Yuna looked at Jack and shook her head. "No, Jack, it's too dangerous. You don't know what you're getting into."
"I know exactly what I'm getting into," Jack replied, his jaw clenched. "Alex needs to be stopped, and I'm not going to sit back and let someone else do it. I'm going with you."
Yuna sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Fine, but you need to listen to me and do exactly what I say. We're dealing with some dangerous people here, and one wrong move could mean the end for us."
Jack nodded, his face set with determination. He knew this was a risky move, but he couldn't just stand by and watch as Alex put his twisted plan into action. He had to do something.
They quickly grabbed the necessary equipment and made their way outside to the jet ski. Yuna drove while Jack held on tight behind her. The wind whipped through their hair as they sped across the water towards the island.
