Chapter 33

It's only been a while since I rested myself on the hotel bed that feels much more comfortable than mine when I hear the faint sound of a bell from outside the room and Richard's voice as if he's talking to someone.

Out of curiosity, I got out of bed and out of the bedroom to find the source of the sound which I hoped was just part of my hallucination. I kept walking until I arrived at the hotel room door and found Richard standing with a hotel staff who was still standing outside the room door.

"Are you sure you're not in the wrong room? I don't remember that I..."

"Richard, please step aside for a moment."

Richard then looked behind him, looking at me with his confused expression which I responded by nudging his right arm, motioning for him to step aside while I gave the hotel staff a chance to come inside.
