The plain unfiltered truth

Judith always had an inferiority complex whenever her friend was involved.

She was a bold tigress when compared to everyone else, but whenever someone picked Milan over her, it hurt her..... deeply.

Sometimes, she'd intentionally let Milan look like a fool to everyone so she could feel better about herself.

It was a sad sight. And yes, She felt bad for doing that, but the pleasure she felt afterwards outweighed her guilt.

Judith was fuming inwardly, she was mad at Milan but not at Felix.

She kept calling Milan a horrible person, over and over again in her mind.

She was over seeing her friend's face and she wanted to go away fast.

Judith and Felix began to leave, heading for the exit.

Judith suddenly remembered that she had kept her house keys in Milan's purse.

"My goodness, I need to collect something. I'll be right back" she said in a soft voice.

One thing she hated doing was making a man she struggled to get, wait.

And yes, she didn't believe in the "I don't chase, I attract".

Whenever she used that theory, she always attracted what she didn't like.

It seemed her aura took "you are what you attract" personally and drew petty and annoying people in.

She swifty turned and walked fast.

On reaching where her friend was, she noticed that the keys she came to get were on the counter.

It seemed Milan took them out and waited for Judith to come and take them.

Judith rolled her eyes and grabbed them from the counter. She wasn't in the mood to thank her horrible friend.

"Excuse me... dancing girl" a sweet voice oozing femininity called behind them.

They both turned round. Milan because she was being called, and Judith because she wanted to know why Milan was being called.

Judith's jaw hung open in shock.

It was the most unexpected person ever.

It was the girl that stole the show when they had arrived.

An A-list actress, a celebrity...

Tequila Almanzar...

"I'm sorry I said dancing girl, I don't know your name" she apologized.

"Oh, that's okay. My name is Milan", Milan responded.

"And I'm Tequila. I really loved your dance earlier. It was soothing to watch" The celebrity complimented.

"Thank you, someone said I looked like I was in my own world" Milan replied and Tequila giggled.

Judith's POV

Tequila fucking Almanzar giggled at something Milan said.

Something Milan said?

Something MILAN said???!

Milan isn't the funny one, I am!! I always have been.

Milan and Tequila were having a conversation in front of me. Flowing, with no awkward moment.

I felt a blockage in my throat and I fumed.

My vision went blurry and jealousy hit me like a wave.

I was too in my feelings to notice when they had both left the bar and we're now conversing with other celebrities.

How was she even able to keep the conversation going?

There was nothing interesting about her that anyone would want to know.

She was boring!!!

But the giggles and loud laughter that erupted from where they were showed that some people found her interesting.

.....

Judith's vision became even blurrier as tears threatened to fall from her eyes.

Why was it always her? Why!!!!

She turned around and left on her heels, remembering that Felix was waiting for her.

She wiped her eyes and put on a fake smile.

At least he wanted her. She wasn't unimportant to him.

On reaching the exit, she noticed that Felix was nowhere to be found.

Her expression was that of confusion.

Where did he go? She thought.

His olive skin caught her eye when one of the spotlights focused on it.

He was heading in the direction opposite from where she stood.

She was still confused.

What was going on? She thought.

He stood beside another lady and held her hand. The lady was in the group where Tequila and yours truly stood.

His fingers were clearly intertwined with the lady's.

What the Fuck???!

Who the hell is that bitch? And why is she holding him like that?!!!!

"That's his girlfriend", a deep voice from behind spoke.

Startled by the proximity and how creepy it was, Judith gasped.

It was Jaeyoon, Milan's shitty cousin.

She didn't like him one bit, probably because he could see through her facade from the very first time they met.

She always avoided him, not knowing when he would spontaneously choose to expose her.

He had a very bad aura. One that instilled fear and discomfort in others.

"What do YOU want" she growled, not in the mood for any remarks.

"Certainly not your whoring ass" he spat.

A vein popped on her forehead, who the hell was he calling a whore???!

THIS BASTARD!!!

"How dare you!" She was fuming.

"I'll go straight to the point. We both have a common annoyance. Give me a hand with it and I'll make sure you don't have to worry about it anymore", he said simply.

"Oh really? That'd be amazing" she began with a fake relieved tone.

"Was that what you were expecting to hear? Like hell I'd help you with anything, bastard" she added, her expression show her disgust.

"Milan.... Will take so much more away from you" he decided to use a different method, rubbing salt in her wounds.

"The hell does that mean?" He had gotten her attention alright.

"She's a fucking magnet and I know you're aware of it. She attracts so much attention while you, the friend... Gets absolutely nothing.

You keep moving around, chasing the wind while the tornado bows to her.

She's everything you want to be, everything you want to have.

But guess what my dear? You will NEVER be the one who attracts.....and I'm sure you've realized it too" He spoke, telling her about her own reality in a smooth monotonous voice.

"......"

Speechless, she was rendered speechless.

She had absolutely nothing to retort.

How could someone at a distance tell so much? Was it that obvious?

Did she look this foolish to everyone around her?

The Tears she was holding back fell uncontrollably from her eyes.

Fuck this shit.

Fuck her.

Fuck Jaeyoon.

Fuck that bitch Milan.

Fuck that dickhead Felix.

Fuck everyone.

ARGHHHHHHHH

More tears fell, she couldn't stop them anymore.
