Beyond the Mountain

Sendra flies toward her magnificent castle located far beyond in the mountains. She was in a rush and had an anxious expression "How dare they snatch my love away from me in my presence, I will rip off the limbs and organs. Do those bastards think that they can do whatever they desire? No, I will not let them go or show mercy, they had touched my sweetheart which they never should have done in their seven lives."

Sendra mumbles in rage while she clenches her teeth at the thought of the ice realm trios' sins they had committed. Soon she reached her beautiful castle visible from the air and landed on the ground, without delaying any seconds Sendra headed inside to a certain room in a hurry and opened her treasure chest.

"Frostgate Amulet... I remember that I had kept those here... There it is!" Sendra exclaims in slight joy and smile. She picked up a cyan crystal orb in a rush and was about to smash it with her hand but she stopped.

Sendra felt someone else presence standing behind her, she turned around and said "What are you doing inside my castle, weren't you finding my love in your land's borders?"

Sophia ran out of breath while chasing Sendra's unmatchable speed. Her red hair was messed up and her golden eyes were red and full of restlessness. The beauty which she had received as a dragon princess has faded in her current state. If anyone glances at her, they would conclude that she hasn't taken a rest for months.

"You... Y-You know where my lovely son is, don't you?" Sophia speaks and wipes the tears from her reddened cheeks her body gestures are shaking to keep herself standing up. She was so tired that she nearly made her consciousness awake in just wish to embrace her world-treasured son. She fears that she won't be able to see her son once again, this single nightmare always not letting her have rest.

"Don't stay quiet! Speak up to me... Please I beg you where he is... Sob~sob~sob~sob" Sophia began to cry she lost her strength and stumbled on the ground. Seeing her state Sendra felt sorry for her mental state, seeing not her son for the entire day or not feeling his warmth had broken her mind.

"What a pitiful look you had made, look at yourself are you worthy of being called my love, your son? Don't forget that you are a Dragon princess from Dragon Empire, that expression doesn't fit you" Sendra said and stared at Sophia.

"What does that question have to do with my son? I only want to know where he is and you know who kidnapped him, please tell me or I have to use another way to let you speak." Sophia's expression changed from exhaustion to hostility, her Dargon aura started to get intense making the entire castle shake. Despite knowing that there is a huge gap between her and Sender's strengths, magic, and experience she still went to fight with her one-on-one. Sophia is nothing but an ant in front of Sendra, she is a dragon princess on the other hand Sendra is an Ice goddess.

Sendra stares at Sophia who is ready to fight with her. She knows that if she hurt her Xzson would be enraged for hurting her mother. Their bond as mother and son has become stronger, as Sophia's personality turns into Yandere's obsession with her son. With each passing her only desire is to stay with her son all the time and take care of all his needs.

Sendra sighed and once again looked at Sophia "If my Xzson would have accepted you as a mother you would be dead by now since showing off your aura, you silly Dragon, and about who took him and where only I know."

"You know tell me! Don't make me wait, speak to me" Sophia's eyes widened in relief after getting to know something about her son. She appeared in front of Sendra like a ghost but Sendra didn't show any immediate reaction and stared at her.

She opened her mouth and began to explain who had kidnapped Xzson and where they had taken him. After Sendra finished speaking she looked at Sophia whose eyes turned red full of anger and revenge.

"These ice realm creatures dare to take away my beloved son? I will kill them, that f#cking bastard they had invited death toward their door" Sophia glared in fury and looked at Sendra.

"Where is this ice realm? take me there now, they have to pay for taking my son away from me!"

Sendra nodded and smashed the Frostgate Amulet on the floor instantly a white hole appeared beneath the ground stated sucking everything it's surrounding.

"This is a long-distance travel artefact!" Sophia exclaims in surprise to see the Frostgate Amulet break into pieces.

"It's not just an ordinary long-distance artefact it is so rare to achieve something like this. Only one of these would cost 100 Palladium coins." Sendra said with a grin. Sophia was shocked to hear the crystal which she smashed on the ground was a total of any annual income of a noble family.

"100 Palladium coin! Are you fooling me? How could you just smash 100 Palladium coins like this!" Sophia shouted at Sendra with frustration but she didn't respond to her instead looked at her with a smile.

"Why are you so concerned about these worthless coins You have your son and I have my love needs to be saved instead of standing there and wasting time we should head to rescue him" Sendra spoke and jumped out of the hole without looking back.

Sophia also didn't waste anything and went after the Sendra. Once both disappeared the hole closed automatically.
