"Surviving the Hotel of Horror"

As the gunshots upstairs gradually came to a halt, the room fell silent once more.

The only sounds were the wheezing breaths of the injured woman and the distant crackling of the fire outside. The room was dimly lit by the flickering of a few candles scattered around the room.

The air was thick with the smell of burnt rubber and gasoline, mixed with the metallic scent of blood. Asher could feel his stomach churn as he breathed in the acrid air. He looked at Andrew and could see the concern etched on his face.

After several minutes of rest, Andrew finally spoke up, breaking the heavy silence. "We can't stay here forever, and we need to find real food. These biscuits and snacks won't sustain us for long."

As Asher and Andrew discussed their plan, tension hung thick in the air. The Navis upstairs posed a deadly threat, but they had no choice but to proceed.

Asher suggested that he check the dining area downstairs while Andrew searched upstairs. With the plan set, they left the woman behind and made their way through the hotel.

As they descended the stairs, Asher felt a knot of fear in his stomach.

He was tense and vigilant, his two daggers at the ready. The atmosphere was oppressive, with the quiet hum of air conditioning the only sound.

The lighting in the hotel was dim, casting ominous shadows across the walls and floors. The furniture was old and worn, and the decorations were sparse, with only a few paintings hanging crookedly on the walls.

Hours seemed to pass as they made their way down, and Asher's nerves frayed with every step. The creaking of the stairs seemed to echo through the entire hotel, making Asher feel as if they were being watched.

The oppressive atmosphere weighed heavily on his shoulders, and he could feel the tension building with every passing moment.

Finally, they reached the dining area. Just as Asher was about to breathe a sigh of relief, his breath caught in his throat.

There were two Navis there, one of them at the mid-bronze stage and the other at the peak bronze stage. Asher knew he couldn't judge their abilities by their appearance alone, and his nerves went into overdrive.

Just as he was about to make his move, something unexpected happened.

A red shadow appeared next to the leader of the Navi and slashed down. Asher watched in disbelief as the leader of the Navi tied to block the strike was sent flying back, with burn marks on several parts of his body. When he saw the creature responsible, his heart skipped a beat.

It was a Xenomorph, over four meters tall, with claws that looked like swords and a body covered in red scales that could easily tank bullets. Its eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, and its movements were lithe and graceful.

Asher was frozen in shock for a moment, taking in the creature's appearance in awe. Its scales were slick, almost like a wet reptile, and its claws glimmered in the dim light of the dining area. He could see every muscle flexing beneath its skin as it prepared to strike again.

Without hesitation, Asher ran back upstairs in a panic.

Fire meant elemental power, which meant the creature was at least silver-ranked. As he made his way back, he heard the leader of the Navis curse, "Why the fuck did you attack us? We're in an alliance."

The Xenomorph replied with a hungry smile, "And? Nobody will know that I killed you guys. Furthermore, a ranked being is way more delicious than a random brat." Its voice was like a hiss, sending chills down Asher's spine.

Without any other words, the Xenomorph formed an uneven ball of fire and shot it at the weaker Navi. The Navi tried to block it, but both his weapons, his arms, and some parts of his body exploded on impact, leaving burn marks all over him. The fireball was like a grenade.

The fight between the Xenomorph and the Navis continued downstairs, with the sounds of swords clashing and fireballs exploding echoing throughout the hotel.

The tension in the air was palpable, and Asher's heart was racing as he made his way back up the stairs.

As Asher reached the room, his heart was pounding in his chest. He leaned against the door, trying to catch his breath and calm his nerves.

When he finally opened the door, the first thing he saw was the injured woman, still wheezing and moaning in pain. He went over to her and checked her wounds, doing his best to make her comfortable. But his mind kept going back to the fight downstairs.

After a few minutes, Andrew returned to the room. His face was pale, and he had a look of shock on his face. "We need to leave," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Why?" Asher asked, his heart still racing.

"Come with me," Andrew replied, and just as they were gonna leave they heard the woman talk.

"Please, don't leave me here. I don't want to die alone."

Asher's heart sank as he turned back to face the woman. He knew that they couldn't afford to stay, but leaving her alone was not an option.

"Andrew, we need to take her with us," he called out, hoping that his friend would agree.

"Are you sure that's a good idea? We don't know if we can protect her."

"We can't just leave her here to die. We'll find a way to keep her safe," replied Asher.

Andrew nodded, and together they lifted the woman onto a makeshift stretcher. They knew that this would slow them down, but they couldn't abandon her.

As they descended the stairs, Asher could smell blood and burnt flesh. The oppressive atmosphere from before had turned into a scene straight out of a nightmare.

The two Navis lay on the floor, with gruesome wounds covering their bodies. The weaker Navi was dead, with his body twisted and contorted in pain. The stronger Navi was still alive, but barely, with his breathing labored and his eyes unfocused.

But the most surprising part was the Xenomorph. It was completely unscathed, not a scratch on its red scales, despite the violent fight.

Asher could feel his stomach turn as he looked at the gruesome scene. He tried to keep his composure, but the sight of so much blood and gore made him feel sick.

Asher felt a twinge of fear, wondering how they were going to get past the creature without being noticed. But the Xenomorph was too focused on its prey, and they managed to slip past it unnoticed.

Once outside, they could see the destruction wrought by the fire and the war. The flames had consumed most of the surrounding buildings, leaving only a few standing. The air was thick with smoke, making it hard to breathe.

As they moved away from the hotel, Asher could feel the weight of their situation settling in. They were alone, with no food or shelter, and a dangerous creature on their trail. But he refused to give up. They had to keep moving forward, no matter the cost.
