Touching One's Tail Needs to be Delicate

[Saga POV]

Once sir Paul told us his farewell and left the inn, everyone went back to our room. I can see that both Ceobe and the red-haired girl were quite frustrated and I'm not yet sure why.

"Hey Milord, why were they acting like that?" I asked Rudeus to know the reason for their behavior.

"Well, they're quite annoyed by the whole encounter with my father"

"I see"

Looks like they still holding a grudge towards sir Paul, regardless of his sins were forgiven by me and Rudeus. Oh well, they will eventually learn to forgive him one day.

"So.... What do we do now, milord?" I awkwardly asked Rudeus, wondering what activity shall we do while there's still more time.

"You still have to learn Human language, Saga" Rudeus replied.

Ah yes, I almost forgot. Rudeus was supposed to teach me how to communicate with his dialect, but it was delayed because of sir Paul's visit.

"Can you teach me now, milord?"

"Of course, I can"

And so, Rudeus proceeds to teach me about the human language. He begins on teaching some of the basic vocabulary that could help me to communicate with people.

As I learn more human language, the better I could understand the conversation of Ceobe and the red-haired girl.

"Argh, I'm so bored. Eris, please brush my tail" Ceobe said, requesting the red-haired girl which I now know as Eris.

"If you insist, come here"

The girl then complied to Ceobe's request and proceeded to fondle her fluffy tail, which is quite odd. Anyway, going back to the lesson, I notice that Rudeus is looking at me funny.

"Milord, why are you smiling like that?" I asked, wondering why is he smirking at me in a perverse manner.

"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just curious if I can touch your tail as well" Rudeus suspiciously requested.

I still remembered the last time someone suddenly fondled my tail, as well as the strange feeling when they did it.

Because of that, I don't know whether if I should comply to Rudeus' request or not. Although the feeling of my tail being touched wasn't painful, rather it kind of tickles me a lot.

"Well, I wouldn't mind if you touch it just a little bit" I meekly muttered, complying to his request.

[Rudeus POV]

Oh my god, this is the best day of my life. I nonchalantly requested if I can touch Saga's tail as a joke but she complied to it willingly.

As I look at the black-haired beast girl, she meekly turns her back and showed me her fluffy and curly tail that is wagging like crazy.

Clearly, this is an invitation to let me touch her tail. Even though she has the mentality of a Japanese teenage girl, she's quite submissive to my command.

So, I took the opportunity and reach my hand towards her.

*Rustle*

"Eek..."

Saga let's out a tiny screek when I successfully touched her tail. The sensation of her fur on my hand feels so soft and smooth.

Due to the wonderful sensation, I have lost all reason and did the unthinkable, in which I buried my face at Saga's tail and took a sniff of her fur.

"KYAAA!!"

This causes Saga to scream loudly which caught the attention of Eris and Ceobe. When I look at them, they glared at me with a disgust expression on their face.

"Oi, Rudeus. What do you think you're doing to Saga?"

"Yeah. Also, are you touching Saga's tail?"

The two of them questioned me because of my perverse action, so I immediately prostrated in front of the girls.

"I'm truly sorry, it won't happen again!!" I apologizes loudly, hoping they will forgive me.

"Don't apologize to us, do that to Saga"

"I agree, she's the one who's the victim here"

Upon hearing their reprimands, I quickly look back at Saga who is currently upset of what happened and I noticed that her tears were coming out of her eyes.

So, I head towards Saga and deeply prostrate myself in front of her.

"I'm truly sorry, Saga! I didn't mean to bury my face at her tail! Please forgive me!" I apologize profusely, hoping that she will let this one slide.

When I apologized to Saga, she seems to be surprised but then she proceeds to ponder for a while before deciding on an answer.

"I will accept your apology..."

"Thank you very mu-"

"But you're temporarily banned from touching my tail"

Saga cuts me mid-sentence and decided on the punishment after accepting my apology. Phew, that's a close one. Luckily, she's tolerable.

Wait, hold on... Temporarily banned?

[Paul POV]

After I said farewell to Rudy and his friend, I left their inn and return back to base so I can ready all of the things I need to bring tomorrow.

As I arrived at my destination, I saw my daughter, Norn who is currently sitting by the door of the tavern, seemingly waiting for someone.

"Hey there, Norn. What are you doing there all by yourself?" I asked my daughter as I approach her.

Upon hearing my voice, Norn quickly look at my direction and her face immediately lights up when she saw me coming.

"Papa, welcome back!" Norn cheerfully greeted me with a smile.

Ah, seeing my own daughter smiling surely brighten up my day, plus reconciling with Rudy releases some of the guilt I had.

"Where have you been, papa?"

Norn curiously asked me where I went, so I told her that I've been to her brother's place and we talked with him and his friend. This intrigues Norn so much that she came up to me and asked.

"Was miss fluffy lady there too?!"

Miss fluffy lady? Perhaps she's referring to the black-haired beast girl named Saga. I don't know why Norn was quite fond of that person but I guess I will find out soon enough.

"Yes, dear. She's there as well"

Norn's eyes shines when I confirmed that the person that she's looking for was at the place I went earlier.

"Can we see her, papa?" she excitedly asked.

"Well, it's getting dark, so we can't go there now"

I responded to Norn's question, in which she looks disappointed of my answer. So, in order to correct myself I told her that we can go there tomorrow, in which she reluctantly agrees.

Anyway, I probably need to go inside now since the sun is about to set. Therefore, I enter the Tavern along with my daughter. As I enter inside, I saw a familiar face waiting at the lobby.

"I've been waiting for you, sir Paul"

It's a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her appearance reminds me of my missing wife and she is related to her.

"What do you want?" I asked the blonde woman.

"I want to inquire about a certain beast person"
