Rena was fifteen. AJ was twenty. Rena wasn’t necessarily allowed to use IMVU because she wasn’t an adult. She lied about her age and about other things. Then she met AJ. The two became friends fast and then it became a relationship. Rena’s sister finds out about the relationship and threatens to call police. Rena tries desperately to rekindle the relationship and the two become friends again. About a year and a half later, AJ comes down for a visit and everything changes.
