This is a crime investigation novel that starts with Satoru Takahashi, picking up a call on his first day of work; that call turns out to be from a serial killer named Anubis, and the serial killer starts a game with Satoru Takahashi. In the end, Satoru finds out that there is a mastermind named Z who created this killer, and he is going to create many more killers like this in alphabetical order, with each name pointing to an evil god or name that has connections to death. Then the story goes on with Satoru trying to find all the identities of the killer that was created by Z, and will he ever be able to find the real identity of the mastermind Z? Many misteries are introduced in the novel.

The next victim to be investigated is Hina. But she comes from a well-known family, so the higher-ups don't like to investigate her case further because it will attract media attention quickly.


"Soe San I know, but we can't do anything. The media is closely watching their family members, so it is hard for now to investigate further on Hina and Asuka."


"Ya, but the higher-up fools do not know what the outcome is if we don't find Anubis the serial killer in three days; they only want to terminate my team completely instead of catching the serial killer Anubis."


"There is nothing to worry about; the team members have already collected a lot of information, and I don't think we will get more crucial information anyway."


I have no answer now; I have so many questions. What should I do to get all these questions answered? Should I stop the inquiry here and look for other methods, or should I continue this inquiry?
