CHAPTER 37: THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT

“Hey, your glass is going to break,” Dave whispered in my ears. “You’re going to hurt yourself.”

Can I hurt even more than I already am? I’d much rather get physically wounded. At least, that would distract me from the pain of knowing that Rodney and Shelley got back together.

We’ve only officially parted ways yesterday! And now they are back in each other’s arms already. That guy really didn’t care for me one bit.

He didn’t have even a bit of feelings for me. And to think I spent my night wondering if I ever cross his mind. Apparently, not.

He probably didn’t even have to spend the night on his own. Shelley probably already moved in with him. He insisted that I remove all my things yesterday, it must be because he wanted Shelley to be with him as soon as possible.

What did he say again?

Ah yes. He said: “Don’t leave any trash here as a consideration to the person who will use this place next.”
