An ambitious writer lands an exciting contract that is bound to launch her career into it's peak. She is ecstatic about this, until she gets a threatening message that entails her playing a double agent. She is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. With the former, she has her family to lose, but the latter means she loses the man that makes her believe in things she has long forgotten exists.

Red charged into her room, and went straight to the windows. Her heart thumped harder in her chest, as she shut the blinds, and closed the windows. She tried to turn off the lights, but her trembling fingers were too slippery to oblige. 


"Okay Red, let's calm down. It's just rain." She thought to herself, just as another lightening struck. 


She jumped into her bed, trembling all over. Somehow, she managed to turn off the lights, and buried herself deep inside her duvet. She shut her eyes tight and said a single prayer. "Just lightening, no thunders."
