The Dawn Of The Vampire

Neculai’s Perspective:

Neculai had not noticed the book until he had pulled her close asking her to trust him, just before taking off into the sky with her. The unfamiliar hardback book buried in her purse, rubbed in between them while they flew towards the villa. She kept adjusting her bag between them so the bag’s strap didn’t pull around her neck. Her fidgeting with the bag and the hard lump being forced in between them caused him to look down at her with a frown, but he didn't say anything until they arrived at a secluded villa he owned. He had set her down gently on her feet but didn’t take his arms from around her. His eyes watched her carefully after assuring her they were safe, then he nodded towards her bag.
