The Forbidden Technique

The next morning Deja took a stroll to the little village down the hill from where Neculai’s Villa lay. The little village consisted of a general store, a church, a post office, and a small rustic restaurant. Deja strolled to the general store to get a few more groceries. She didn’t know how long Neculai planned on staying at his Villa, but she needed food, even if he didn’t. As she walked past the wooded trail filled with Pine trees, she couldn’t help but replay what happened between her and Neculai last night.

After reading over the book, Neculai seemed upset. Deja knew she had to help him. She coaxed him into explaining what was wrong. He was hesitant at first then after several moments, he explained that all the information the book revealed was new to him. He never knew who his father was or how he was created. His mother never explained to him any of those details.
