chapter 14: Kiss

In a lavishly decorated room adorned with beautiful ornaments, small floating lights illuminated the area, with a large king-sized bed situated in the center.

High ceilings and tall windows allow plenty of natural moonlight to flood the space, accentuating the beauty of the ornate furnishings and decor.

Perched upon the bed was Kai, who intently stared down Reoul, who sat casually before him. Kai's piercing blue eyes fixated on Reoul's bloodshot red gaze, while his short, peach-colored hair was adorned with ornate hair rolls, and Kai was draped in a bathrobe.

"Listen, there are some rules you need to be aware of," Kai spoke with a commanding tone to Reoul.

"My master is Miss Mina, not you," Reoul spat out defiantly, igniting a flicker of fury in Kai's eyes, causing a vein to bulge menacingly on his forehead.

Kai's aura flared as he slammed his hand down on the bed, his eyes glowing with anger. "How impudent!" he roared. But Reoul's demeanor remained unshaken, responding with disdain and a scratch of the head. "Tch, so you're just a two-faced bastard," he spat.

Kai crossed his arms with a smirk, "I can say the same about you."

"Well I don't care if you listen to me," Kai warned with a menacing stare, "You can do whatever you want, but if you even think about touching Mina, you'll regret it."

Reoul nodded, "Sure, I'm not an idiot. But let's be real, my master is irresistibly alluring, she has this kind of energy that attracts people to her."

Kai gripped his palms in discomfort hearing Reoul's words, "Well you aren't supposed to get near her, once we join a sect we would set you free."

Reoul smiled with gratitude, "I see. I'm in your debt."

Kai's eyes glinted with malice, "Don't get the wrong idea. This was the easiest way to dispose of you. I would have preferred to kill you, but luck was on your side." He settled into his bed, pulling the blanket up to his chin.

"Well let's share a bed," Reoul's suggested. Reoul, to which Kai snarled, "You will sleep on the floor!" But Reoul only chuckled at the warning, unfazed by Kai's display of dominance.

"A question had been lingering in my mind for quite a while," Mina muttered out loud as she laid in a large hot bath.

"Since I became a succubus, I haven't needed to pee or poo. Is this normal? Because nah I seriously gotta know. I'm aware it's normal for every person to be able to release themselves, but what of Succubus?" Mina's face twisted with confusion and unease as she pondered this enigma.

She frowned, her unease growing. "Cultivators can transform their waste into energy, but they still need to relieve themselves once a month, or maybe once a week," she reasoned aloud, trying to make sense of her own body.

"Oh is it like this, so that a succubus can have to dicks in her at the same time without it being weird?" Mina suddenly thought with a shocked expression.

As Mina contemplated the intricacies of succubus physiology, a dark and foreboding thought crept into her mind. "Is this what it means to be a creature of the night, to indulge in such perverse and forbidden pleasures?" she wondered as she had a cheeky grin plastered on her face, "That means I can get a threesome one day."

But as she moved to take a few steps, a sudden pain ripped through her chest, causing her to stumble and gasp for air. She clutched at her robes, her fingers white with strain as she fought to stay upright.

A violent cough wracked her body, and as she opened her hands, she saw crimson stains blooming across her smooth brown skin. A low groan escaped her lips as she struggled to catch her breath, feeling her strength fading away with each passing moment.

With a steely resolve, she struggled to her feet and stumbled back to the bathroom, her heart pounding with fear and uncertainty. As she washed the blood from her hands, she could feel the heat emanating from her body.

"My body feels hot, not again," Frowning with frustration, Mina gazed into the mirror and saw her eyes glowing with a sinister purple light.

Mina hurriedly left her chambers, her heart pounding with urgency and desperation.

Her hand trembled as she reached out to knock on his door, her voice shaky and uncertain as she called out to him, "Kai, are you there?" she whispered, hoping against hope that he would answer her call.

As the door slowly creaked open, Mina was startled to see Reoul standing there, his eyes piercing her with a look of concern and suspicion. "Hello miss, it's you."

"I need to see Kai," Mina replied, her words barely audible as she clutched her Jody tightly to her chest. Her breath came in short gasps, and she could feel the heat rising in her cheeks as she struggled to control her emotions.

"He's sleeping," Reoul informed her, his eyes never leaving her face. "Are you feeling unwell?" he asked, a note of concern creeping into his voice.

Mina shook her head and looked up at him, her cheeks flushed with a sudden rush of heat that caught Reoul off guard and made his heart skip a beat.

"No I'm fine," she said as she clutched the robes around her chest again.

"You don't look fine," he said, reaching out a hand to steady her. But Mina shook her head, her grip tightening on her chest as she passed by him and made her way through the halls

"Hey Kai," Mina sat on his bad as she gently tugged his robe.

Kai groaned and rubbed his eyes, looking up at Mina with a sleepy grin. "What's up?" he asked, his voice low and groggy.

Kai sat up, his eyes still heavy with sleep as he looked at Mina's pained expression. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice soft with concern..

"Kai," Mina called out to him as she held his hand and her aching chest. She looked up at him with a dazed expression, her eyes filled with lust.

Kai's voice was tinged with anxiety as he spoke. "Is it happening again?" he asked, his eyes searching Mina's face for any signs of distress.

Mina nodded, her expression filled with shame and embarrassment.

"Then should we…." Kai scratched his head as his eyes wondered to Mina's chest.

But Mina shook her head, her eyes pleading with him. "No," she said softly. "It's not that serious. A kiss will be enough."

Kai's eyes softened as he leaned in to kiss her, his hand cupping her cheek as he tried to ease her discomfort.

But before he could fully lose himself in the moment, he noticed Reoul standing at the door, his expression curious.

"Excuse us for a moment," Kai said, his voice sharp as he glared at Reoul. He needed privacy for this delicate matter, and he would not allow anyone to intrude.

"If I stray too far the slave mark would kill me," Reoul shrugged.

"Then you can use the living room," Mina suggested and Reoul's nodded and left.

"Mina's breaths came in short gasps as Kai's tongue ravished her mouth, igniting a fire within her that she couldn't resist. Her hands clutched at his robes, pulling him closer. And Kai too lost himself in the passion of the moment.

Kai slowly pulled away, his face flushed with desire. "Do you feel better?" he asked, concern etched on his features.

Mina nodded, her face red and her breathing heavy. "Yes, I feel much better now. Thank you," she said, a cute smile gracing her lips that touched Kai's heart..

"I'm glad," Kai replied.

"Can you sleep in my room? Not for sex, just...I don't want to be alone," Kai asked, his cheeks turning a faint shade of pink.

Mina giggled at his request. "I don't mind, silly. If you wanted to sleep by my side, you should have asked," she teased.

"I did ask!" Kai pouted.

"Mina chuckled and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Alright then, let's sleep together," she said, snuggling back into his embrace.

"Hey Reoul, here's the key to my room. You can sleep there," Mina called out to him, holding out the key. "It's just the room opposite to Kai's, so the slave mark won't kill you."

"Sure," Reoul took the key from Mina and silently retreated, feeling a sense of unease as he reflected on the scene he had witnessed. "So that's the kind of relationship they have. They're probably a couple," he muttered under his breath, sensing an unspoken connection between the two.

As the night wore on, Mina and Kai lay in bed together, wrapped up in each other's arms. However, just as Mina was about to drift off to sleep, she felt a large object poking her from behind. Her cheeks flushed crimson as she realized what it was.

"Wait, I can't do this!" Mina exclaimed as she pulled away from Kai, tugging at his cheeks.

"Why not?" Kai asked with a crestfallen look on his face, sensing that something was amiss.

"I feel a bit guilty," Mina sad with a sad expression.

"Guilty?" Kai asked a bit confused.

"You're only attached to me like this because I took your first time without permission," Mina blurted out and pursed her lips.

"I feel guilty that I kinda raped you," Mina mumbled in a low voice.

'But this that wasn't the first time we had sex, has she truly lost her memory,' Kai wondered with a hurt expression and patted her on the head.

"I gave you my consent so there's no need to worry," Kai said, his voice firm and reassuring. "You didn't rape me. I made the decision to be with you. And you didn't take my first time without permission. I gave it to you willingly."

Mina's eyes widened in surprise and she looked up at Kai, searching for any sign that he might be lying. But she found none. His expression was serious and sincere.

"It doesn't changed the fact that I coerced you into doing such lewd stuff with me before gaining your consent!" Mina yelled with a flushed face and Kai's heart warmed by how cute she was.

"Hey I'm not mad about it okay, so calm down," Kai hugged her and brushed her hair with his arms.

Tears welled up in Mina's eyes as she begun to cry, "You should be angry! This isn't something I should calm down about!"

"But thinking about it makes you stressed right?" Kai asked and Mina nodded.

"Yes so I just wanted to apologize for what I did, I should have gotten your proper consent before touching you. But I just couldn't help myself," Mina said.

"Seriously, don't worry yourself about it. I did not hate at all, even so I forgive you," Kai hugged her tightly and Mina stopped crying.

Mina sniffled and buried her face in Kai's chest. "Thank you, Kai. You're always so kind to me."

Kai's lips curled up into a gentle smile as he pressed a kiss to the top of Mina's head. "That's because I love you, Mina."

Mina's face lit up with a rosy blush, her heart racing at the sound of his voice. "How could you say that? We've only known each other for a month," she protested.

Kai's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Perhaps it's love at first sight," he suggested with a playful grin.

Mina scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't believe in such a thing," she retorted.
