Scope of the Next

They ran around the quad trying their best to get the best content and shots that they needed to their best ability with all the bad feelings pushed behind them since they still had a lot of work that needed to be done. They were able to get some good recordings done on a whim, catching students as they were going to their next class.

It was quite hectic since they didn't have a true setup, instead it was she put the microphone into the interviewee's face along with Noah behind the camera, Rowan holding the reflecting lights, and Claudia working behind the scenes of the audio to get everything working smoothly. The questions that Alice asked were on the fly, but she was glad that it all worked well.

Everything went along the lines of Alice running her eyes through the scope of everything before deciding to interview from the first measure of wondering if they were harmless before Alice took off asking, "Hi, would you be able to give me a bit of your time to ask some questions pertaining to your experience at the academy so far?"

The first guys that Alice asked were kind, and they took off their headphones before responding politely. Their responses were articulate which Alice appreciated since it would be easier to write on the slides later on. While interviewing, she would smile to encourage them to continue speaking making them slowly warm up to her.

After going at it for an hour walking around mindlessly, they ended up in one of the glass hallways within the main building to set up camp. They quickly put up all of their gear before getting back to work interviewing the students that were coming and going through the area which was tiring since it was both a lot of working and a lot of waiting.

Some girls started giggling after catching sight of Noah and Rowan, and with that, it was hook, line, and sinker as Alice convinced them to get in front of the camera with Claudia subtly pushing the eye candies out there. It was a bit of a struggle since the girls weren't looking directly at the camera instead of the camera lens making that interview a scrap.

By the end, they all stopped out by the gates going through their footage to make sure that everything was all there and not becoming damaged before saving as it was their last previous interview after packing up their station, catching those that were ending class early since one of their classes got cancelled early.

Alice peered over Noah's shoulder and nodded along as he played some snippets with her voice coming through quietly. She liked the angles that the videos were taken along with the lighting that Rowan worked hard which she told him about eliciting a laugh out of him when she said he should pursue a career in that.

"I think that we got all that we need?" Claudia asked.

"That should be it," Alice confirmed. "We still need to edit the slides and transfer the videos and photos over."

Noah nodded. "That's fine, but should we do it today?"

"I'm busy for the next few days," Rowan said. "If you all are free, we should just finish it out today, so that we have nothing to worry about after doing the project early."

"I agree," Alice said since Rowan's schedule aligned with her working preferences anyways. Now, it was up to Claudia and Noah since she wasn't too sure if they had any plans today. Claudia didn't speak to Alice about anything, but in the end, she wasn't her mother, so there was bound to be some mistiming.

"I'm free," Noah answered.

"I don't have any plans either," Claudia said before laughing when she must have seen Alice's surprised face. "What? I don't go out every day."

Alice waved her away. "I would never think that. I hope that you don't feel pressured today though."

"Oh, it's no worries," Claudia assured.

"Then, where to next?" Rowan asked.

They all needed a spot to work, and the best thing to do would be to go over to someone's house considering that it would be private and their own space after the long day.

She didn't know about them, but she would love to invite them over to her house one day if they were all feeling it since she was truly enjoying the day going out and out with them despite the small hiccups.

"We should head over to someone's house if they're open to it," Alice said. "Who lives the closest here?"

Rowan shrugged. "I might be me. I live right around the corner."

Alice nodded. Her house was about a twenty-minute walk from the academy, so the fact that his house was located nearby would be to their advantage after the long day. "That's perfect. Sorry to invite ourselves over."

"It's no problem," Rowan said. "My parents don't get back until late evening, so we should be good."

"Well, that's settled," Claudia sang.

Alice grinned in response with Noah dipping his chin in agreement bringing one arm slung around her shoulder before Rowan started leading the way, and Claudia trailed after that they all finally took off.
