GRAVETYE MANOR
POV MARCELINE
"Alright, now no more crying until after the wedding, got it?" Sharon admonished playfully as she finished redoing my make-up. I made a face in the mirror and heard my door open.
"Everyone's waiting," Sherly announced. Sharon helped lift my dress and we followed her to my parents waiting outside the beige double doors.
"Oh, my darling daughter, you look radiant," my mother said tearfully.
"No crying until it's over!" Sharon insisted.
"Are you ready?' my father whispered as he looped his arm through mine. I nodded, not trusting myself to speak at this moment. I held out my other arm for my mother and took a deep breath as Sherly instructed the flower girl to go first.
"I'll see you down there," Sharon whispered with a smile and walked down next.
"If you need to run at any time, just give me the signal," my father said, touching his nose.
